goomba is a slur likes wop dego greasball mick jap tojo kraut etc, in a game about `italian` plumbers the first enemies are big deformed mushrooms named goombas in mario world 3 you have to battle your bother to see who gets to go first actually kinda is but would be for the joke/meme be like if bunch of murican mangs made a game about a japanese electrician, where the first/most basic enemy is called nip, tojo or something ---
