its not but when you consider that were gonna run into this problem again in less than 18 years
The Year 2038 problem (also called Y2038 or Y2k38 or Unix Y2K) relates to representing time in many digital systems as the number of seconds passed since 00:00:00 UTC on 1 January 1970 and storing it as a signed 32-bit integer. Such implementations cannot encode times after 03:14:07 UTC on 19 January 2038. Similar to the Y2K problem, the Year 2038 problem is caused by insufficient capacity used to represent time.
The latest time since 1 January 1970 that can be stored using a signed 32-bit integ...

Then it’s even more lifetime for you.
I mean, on the grand scale it’s not even a drop in the ocean which makes it even more amazing how far we as humans have come with developing technology.

Like the atomic bomb. The research and development that went into it are incredible. The use not so much.

weird thing is after the development of the Atomic bomb is and a lot of people tried to find peaceful uses for it which were not very well thought out or idiotic at best, like a German who had an idea to create a lake in the Sahara by using nukes to form a canal from the Mediterranean or the US planning a similar thing in Alaska setting off a bunch of nukes near Cape Thompson to build a harbor in the middle of no where all discounting the fact that the Nuclear fallout would still be present there today if it ever happened.

Project Plowshare was the overall United States program for the development of techniques to use nuclear explosives for peaceful construction purposes. As part of the program, 31 nuclear warheads were detonated in 27 separate tests. Plowshare was the US portion of what are called Peaceful Nuclear Explosions (PNE); a similar Soviet program was carried out under the name Nuclear Explosions for the National Economy.
