Yet carrying a small sword in a addition to an open carry fixed blade is none of them.

That would be a state issue. Not corporate. Employees 100% dont give a FUCK lol. what happens when you pay them $8/hr @ 20hrs/wk XD. You could come in with any weapon and demand the money and they would give it to you 100% of the time

Some states its legal to carry weapons like that

Not surprised.
“They don’t pay me enough to give a fuck”

In some states it’s also illegal to carry a knife of that length. I think CA is one of them. That’s why blade length is such an important spec in knife reviews.

By the time taxes are done your getting $150/wk from them max

Not sure on the laws specifically but the way its mounted nobody would care much. Laws are only good if they are enforced.

Most stores have policies for employees to not do anything about robberies. One of the reasons one of the most stolen items from Home Depot is a fucking refrigerator.

I got more than double of that at my 24-32h/m student job. That really sucks. How are people supposed to pay $1000 rent with that income? Even with multiple jobs.

And then you get that one cop who argues that the curve of the blade makes it measure longer than the allowed length. Or tries to argue that knives that can be opened with one hand are illegal. Until you get UK knife laws.

pretty much this lol. Only thing i could do if i caught you shoplifting was to ask for it and if you refused than call security which has a 5+ minute response time. Couldnt stop you, couldnt touch your purse, etc

Get good at sucking dick or live in your car. Sometimes both.

Try to remove and intentionally fail miserably.

That’s some very expensive rent. I could rent a nice house with utilities included for that.

When I worked overnights at the gas station there was no security. Luckily I only had a few 30s and some food stolen during my 3 years there.

During christmas time, people were constantly stealing. They would fill up those really large gift bags with whatever they wanted and then run out the door with it. Everytime that happened that was $300-$500 worth of merchandise lost everytime

Sounds like upper middle class.
Affording a car with that income…pfft.

Because it’s ridiculous.
Knives are such a universal and basic tool and yet they see knives solely as weapons.
And I bet those who’re trying to make knives as difficult as possible to get all have a few nice expensive ones themselves (above the legal length and with handle materials like ivory)
Just like all those politicians who’re against the legalization of drugs that get caught with them or those who proudly present their role model families and are very against homosexuality that get exposed as pedos.

Maybe this is the way to get a better paying job.

You do understand that’s part time work right?

I’m not saying they shouldn’t be paid and treated better, but one also can’t expect much for a part-time no/low skill job.

Around here no body offers anything better. If you do manage full time then they will work you like a dog

Yeah, but if you can’t get a full time job you gotta get multple part time jobs to make up for it. But even with 2x 20h/w $150 part time jobs it’s not looking good.

Good luck on that too. My last job wouldnt give me a consistent schedule and wouldnt even give me a copy of the schedule until the day before i started the next work week
