My parents wanted me todo something similar. They didnt like that i was on the wifi but 100% if i had gotten my own they would be asking for the password XD

This is stupid. But as soon as you have something nicer they would want a piece of it too.
I wanted the faster internet speeds with the currents TV/internet package (now 250/50) but my grandmother would’ve been fine with the 150/25 as she just looks up some news, weather and checks the newsletters from supermarkets. The price increased by ~10€ per month (well, actually it was the same with the old package but the ISP changed the prices and with the old speeds we would’ve saved 10€ per month). I wanted the faster speeds so I’m paying for the difference the upgrade costs.
