stone: its minerals; its weight
That 's also how you feel after smoking a pound of weed XD
well also whole thing where people are dumb and over simplify problems, thinking just eliminating insurance companies will solve them problem
when you have hospitals billing them like 35$ for a single bandaid like where the entire box at a drug store is like 3.95$
isnt just insurance companies being a dick, the entire concept of medical coding/billing is entirely retarded, and stupid ass laws allowing shit where they can recommend tests and stuff have literally no idea how much it will cost, imagine going to the mechanic for an oil change, and then they just replace your transmission and shit and send you a bill later, without telling you anything about increasing cost if they do x y or z that they extremely recommend
if you pay cash/say you dont have insurance and ask for an itemized invoice suddenly your bill gets cut in half or even more in some cases, like will literally just jack up your bill with random bs if they know its going to the insurance company and not directly to you
when they should be required to be able to show you the cost of every single thing before you say yes. just like when local gov enables at&t to have a monopoly on the city and gives them a bunch of money to build up infrastructure that was them(the gov) trying to publicly manage utilities, and then they just do literally nothing to enforce any of their agreements, or revoke said agreements and allow any company access on any of the poles, take back their tax monies etc
they just keep making the same deals, giving them protections which they then abuse once they gain a government protected monopoly. i mean the whole in network shit, is they can charge different amounts of money to different insurance companies for the same service, as if you(or insurance comapny) having say cash money, is allowed to not be accepted at place b or c, only a or d. then the whole you cant have an interstate insurance company, like say state farm that does auto, home, loan insurance, loans, banking, they are literally not allowed to compete with in the health insurance game
assume that at this rate in how they do everything else so far, if they did single payer system, would just end up in them paying vastly increased prices even more, and then like 5~10years later taxes would skyrocket when they have to start actually paying back the bills, and then bandaids will be like 100$
since they will prolly do nothing to reduce or manage medical costs, just have the bill not be delivered to you and allow them to skyrocket the price and you’ll never find out until tax hike for massive debt
yes because running down the street in duke nukem on max difficulty so you can get in range to use the shotgun
is much easier than just shooting them with the sniper rifle outside their range of vision
Laughs in m1
Its almost as if Apple seen this writing on the wall lol
Its the same reason the lightning port was made usb was taking too long to finalize a reversible connector so apple made their own took flak for it but they got what they wanted intel/amd cant make a fanless chip that competes because its so far behind in manufacturing process 5nm vs 7nm amd and 10nm shitel
My killawatt says 48watts max draw for my m1mm and thats just intels cpu draw
Power per watt price per performance apple won the contest
The fact to get “beat m1” speeds you spend nearly 1000$ on a processor … that gets you a whole system and a screen that is only a little slower then the top intel cpu
Plus ive hit no road blocks using x86 apps with Rosetta 2 though my use case is kinda normie (2k editing and basic music making and media consumption) gaming isnt a big issue
I play RuneScape and civ 5-6 and stellaris which al work
>easily being beaten by 15w zen2 amd chips in multi threaded workloads with a next gen chip
