I knew it was only a matter of time until this happened, but Amazon key was broken into again. Amazon did release patches though.

yep can’t say I’m surprised, good that they patched it so quickly and have policies in place to prevent this being as much of an issue for their delivery service but I suspect this isn’t the last we’ll hear about security issues with the amazon lock and other similar technologies.

They’re insecure by design.
The only way to make a door impenetrable is to weld it shut, and even then, it’s susceptible to an oxy torch or a light saber.

im still waiting for amazon to come out saying the amazon key servers were hacked which allowed the hacker to controll what ever door they want

I would be that hacker who just locks and unlocks your door all day to annoy you with the sound and drain the battery on your FRONT DOOR.
Another reason not to have hue lights. If you do and I get on your network, I usually choose 3:15AM as a good time for a rave.
