Project Space Report: I’ve written a page and a half… also writing after work cause I really want to make a solid foundation for the first chapter. The main character hasn’t said anything yet… However from reading you would know: what she looks like, she is nervous and worried about something. Do I give you a clue as the reader? Yes and by the end of the chapter I revisit the clue in a different way. ---

Going to probably sell all my random tech stuff I happen to have as well more than likely; I have my dual ryzen setup so really dont need my FX or Core systems lol. Or for that matter Phenom. Though I’ll likely keep the Sabertooth 990FX r3 just because its fairly rare. And I like Sabertooth boards, at least the old ones anyway. I should probably stream more as well, but I mostly enjoy hanging out with people and happening to be streaming than anything… Amd also the fact that most of my games other than like War thunder and Quake Champions that I play are strategy doesnt help viewership and chat at all lol. I love strategy games and whatnot but I also get that they are boring to watch someone play because yeah. Strategy game. Now kind of just rambling as its a slow day at work 😛 tomorrow might be actually busy though so that could be nice. ---

Now to work through 6616 instrumental songs to make a new playlist to listen to. The playlist does have a theme but I got to work through the music to match the songs to the theme. AI can’t do what I do because it doesn’t account for a song flowing into the next nor my mood. ---

Yep I’ve been testing it all day and its really quite good. As of right now no, its in the Steam client beta branch for Linux right now and Its still early and needs a lot more testing though but its very promising and just maybe this will mean I won’t have boot into Windows so often just to play games 😃 ---

On the one hand I like to help sometimes On the other; if you are asking some guy on Reddit about overclocking (when there’s multitudes of resources online and etc) you may not be the brightest bulb so I’m not sure I _can_ help 😛 ---

Hmm. Just remembered my 2700x+RX 570 system currently doesnt have an OS because I pulled the drive for QC, but still has a 4tb one. I might try out linux again on that and the new steam thing for games and see how it goes; as that hardware is Vulkan capable and all. Hmmm. Will probably wait until after I finish my current save of Civ V though which might be _a few_ days lol. Because yay for doing GIANT maps with max civs and max city states. ---

In other news people keep trying to stir up stuff with AMD now; especially after the Nvidia GPU announcement lol to create drama or some similar thing. An acquaintance of my grandma’s is coming over soon to take a look at the dripping jerry-rigged connection of our washing machine to see if there’s something we can do to solve the issue or at least stop the dripping. Not gonna remove the sealing tape unless it’s really necessary as we can use the washing machine in the current state (safe for ~1 drop of water leaking per minute). For some reason shit like this is causing me stress and to feel uncomfortable (when stuff’s not working, getting it done professionally costs too much and thus it’s up to me to come up with a semi-professional solution). And my relatives expect that from me as “I’m my grandfather’s grandson” (who did all the handy work that he taught himself). I guess it comes down to high expectations I don’t feel confident enough to meet. But not doing it would mean spending lots of money. edit: The guy came over (legitimately nice guy, reminds me a bit of Sam Elliot in The Big Lebowski with the mustache) and after some looking at the situation and thinking he came up with 2 possible solutions: find an adapter that fits the PVC pipe and has threads on the other end to screw in a drain knee (?, not sure if that’s the correct term in English) so the hose from the wash.mash. fits on it. Or: buy a hose, cut it to length, connect it to the wash.mash.'s hose and run it _through_ the pvc pipe (which will be cut open on the other end) and connect it to the sink’s siphon. Those options sound very solid. I’m really relieved that this guy helps us with this. ---
