iirc it gives you access to some “premium” features but only for a limited time. like no ads, themes, etc. [https://old.reddit.com/gold/about](https://old.reddit.com/gold/about) But I just use Reddit Enhancement Suite in Firefox and uBlock. The new reddit design is terrible and RES fixes that and a lot of other stuff (like not having to click on a thread to see images, text, etc., it just folds out and in with a button. But on the plus side lol now I’ve cut all ties to hardware vendors that weren’t exactly legit, so if for some reason i decide to do youtube and such no strangeness there 😃 overall 10/10 pure keks. ---

they a) didn’t tell me they were removing me and b) then removed me sounds fairly butthurt to me, from what was a non-ranting post for the most part lol. a few ranty bits here and there but still… it _has_ however gotten like 2k views since i posted it at 1am so there’s that though. still. is whatever 😛 to give an idea of what i mean though; someone who did a nazi salute on stream only got banned from the stream team, and is still a mod on discord. wat. ---

tbh, I never cared much for the effort companies make to bridge the gap between the company and the “community”. be it corsair with gloriousgeorge on reddit or amd. in the end its purpose is to get more people to buy their stuff. I’m generally wary of companies trying to be “buddies” with their target demographic. ---

i find the corsair ones amusing. NZXT as well to an extent. that’s about it though. Nvidia occasionally does cool things but meh? in any case I’ve learned not to work for free from all this crap lol. The only time I’ll work free is if I own the business, in that case it’s only sortof free 😛 otherwise there’s all kinds of questionable things going on and whatnot. Almost always. ---

i mean technically i could share all my stuff i was sent lol also technically is under NDA… ish team was disbanded so i _think_ the NDA is null? i _think_? or it’s done in 2020 if it isn’t null so meh for example i have the full press kits of ryzen 7 and ryzen 5 because they are the only ones we were sent. and some other infos that may or may not be public, lol. but i don’t care too much one way or the other about that so ---

if i was an ass, i would just release everything I _could_ release and it may or may not light a fire under AMD, lol. or it might just get them angry, idk. doesn’t seem like a useful thing to do though. I do know _certain_ things that I wont share though unless in person or whatever. plausible deniability and all that. * * * in unrelated news; van transmission is shot apperently. will probably just buy a beater of a car or something decent from a place if i trade in the van, not sure. Either way will figure something out. in the meantime will see. also possibly going to see a blacksmith my dad knows tomorrow at a fair, could be cool 😃 the guy does classes and things. Though he apparently already has an apprentice but in any case will be interesting. ---
