Same procedure just that in case of damage I’m only eligible for a refund if Amazon is the shipper. No idea how things work when seller AND shipper aren’t Amazon. Not really in the mood to find out.

Yeah, same as above but I think at least there’s buyer’s protection from eBay.

Does that also apply if the seller refuses to give a refund or fix shit? (or even straight up ignores you?)

That goes without saying.
Do people actually believe they get to keep broken shit while still getting a refund?

> [@dinscurge](#):

> thats when it kicks in instantly lel

Didn’t know that. I just assumed Amazon would be like “nope, not our problem. we didn’t sell it, we didn’t ship it.”, so I always avoided buying something when Amazon wasn’t at least handling the shipping.

> - Sie haben Ihren Marketplace-Verkäufer bereits über Mein Konto kontaktiert.
> - Sie haben 2 Werktage auf eine Antwort gewartet.
> - Sie geben den A-bis-z Garantieantrag binnen 90 Tagen nach dem letztmöglichen voraussichtlichen Lieferdatum auf

In addition to all of these 3 requirements (which are the same as you listed), at least one of these must be fulfilled:

> Es trifft mindestens einer der folgenden Fälle zu:

```
Der Verkäufer hat die Ware innerhalb von zwei Kalendertagen nach dem letztmöglichen voraussichtlichen Lieferdatum oder, wenn dies früher ist, 30 Tage nach Aufgabe der Bestellung nicht geliefert.
Sie haben die Ware erhalten, diese war jedoch beschädigt, defekt, entsprach nicht der vom Verkäufer abgegebenen Beschreibung, es ist keine Reparatur oder Ersatzlieferung möglich, und der Verkäufer hat Ihnen den Kaufpreis oder die Versandkosten für Hin- und Rücksendung nicht oder nicht vollständig erstattet. Der Verkäufer hat eine Ersatzlieferung oder Gutschrift zugesagt, es wurde aber keine Gutschrift veranlasst, die veranlasste Gutschrift ist nicht korrekt oder die Ersatzlieferung wurde nicht gesendet.
Bei einer internationalen Rücksendung bietet der Verkäufer weder eine Rücksendeadresse in Deutschland an noch stellt der Verkäufer eine frankierte Paketmarke für eine kostenlose Rücksendung zur Verfügung oder bietet eine vollständige Erstattung unter Verzicht auf die Rücksendung des Artikels an.
Ihnen sind zusätzlich zum Kaufpreis Kosten in Rechnung gestellt worden (z.B. für Zoll bei einem Versand in die EU) und der Verkäufer hat diese Kosten nicht übernommen.
Sie haben einen mangelfreien Artikel eines gewerblichen Verkäufers gekauft und in Übereinstimmung mit den Rücknahmebedingungen des Verkäufers an diesen retourniert, jedoch haben Sie keine Erstattung oder eine Erstattung über den falschen Betrag erhalten. Hierzu müssen Sie den Verkäufer innerhalb der in den Bedingungen genannten Frist kontaktiert haben, und auch die Rücksendung, soweit möglich, binnen derselben Frist abgesendet haben. Fehlte Ihnen die Rücksendeadresse des Verkäufers, so müssen Sie die Ware binnen 14 Tagen nach Erhalt dieser Adresse abschicken (Datum des Poststempels).
```

Basically: hasn’t shipped it within x days after ordering; it arrived broken, not working properly, not as the seller described it, repair/replacement is not possible; seller hasn’t refunded the price of the product and/or the shipping fees (either ways) in full or only in parts; seller agreed to replace/refund but never happened; international stuff; yadda yadda yadda

Unless you left something out it appears it is more complex/regulated here.

Got to sit in on my first call at the new job and its was interesting. I have zero worries about being able to handle it but some people are probably getting fired for violating HIPAA and a few other major no-no’s.

Almost certainly making team lead/manager though

some people who’ve been there a while or new hires? my brother/mother work in a call centre that does work for the government and people regularly get fired for violating many regulations all the time.

Yeah. I mean, it also has positive sides. We have 24months of warranty. iirc even if the manufacturer only gives like 12m, the seller has to deal with it.
Unfortunately, the “Life Time Warranty” for RAM is _only_ 10 years here…

But to get catch is, after 6 months the buyer has to prove that the flaw/defect wasn’t present when they bought it. In the first 6 months it’s the seller’s duty to prove that the flaw didn’t exist when they sold it (which they usually can’t: shrink wrapped/sealed product boxes, there’s no way to tell).

TL;DR its a set of laws on how health insurance companies may access, manage, and disclose personal and medical information. Though what you need to provide is pretty weak and probably easily obtainable with the simplest of phishing attacks.

is a $1000 fine **PER** violation and these are 2-3 minute calls on average over a 12 hour span so it can rack up super quick. Most people dont even get terminated without a warning depending on the context. They do not fuck around with it.

> [@TheDiddilyHorror](#):
>
> Not asking for details but what would be regarded a “major no-no”?

Almost anyone may pay for someones premiums but the payment method **HAS** to be in your name. Accepting a payment that is not in your name would be grounds for termination.

> [@Michael](#):
>
> some people who’ve been there a while or new hires?

Both. New hires are still learning and the older ones get robotic/complacent.

> [@Michael](#):
>
> people regularly get fired for violating many regulations all the time.

Pretty much. Call center i work is hiring pretty much 100% of the time due to so many people being let go.

> [@Michael](#):
>

Fuck yeah. Ill be making almost double pay and double hours of my last job if i manage to get manager. Managed to beat the class in a game of kahoot and won a free taco pizza 😋

\< used to make taco calzones/empinadas when worked at pizza place lel

only use first stage of dough press(is thin crust place)
then do smol pan(12in) pull in like 55-60% of the edge like 1.5-2in before cut it out of the sheet into the pan
pull that flap over the edge of the pan so can do garlic butter base(cause thiccer crust so it dont get too dry also holds spices and stuff in place) put ass ton of pepper/red pepper extra garlic

put like 1/2 lb of taco meat on the 1/2 nearest the flap, bit o cheddar, onion jalapeno slices, some bell pepper w.e.

fold the other side over fold flap over the other side

ram in da oven 650 its done when the center starts to golden on the top
