Only in WI usually. Hell I could get booze at the gas station in WI lmao. Because yes that’s a thing. In MN that wasnt a thing especially not at target until now I guess lol ---

Yeah, been to WI for a brief moment when I was in chicago, went to see the lake and stopped to get gas. quite a few of those states through there from mine have the hard booze in the stores. Beer is available pretty much everywhere though. ---

Also in MN grocery stores can’t sell booze in the store it self they have to have a separate store if they want to sell booze. ---

Nothing because blue book laws For the longest time you couldn’t get any booze on a sunday for same reason lol That’s no longer a thing now. ---

Beer is available basically anywhere, some grocery stores have a little bit of wine, but if you want a good selection of wine or harder stuff like rum/gin/vodka/etc. then you have to go to a liquor store. ---

No many of those laws were created just before prohibition they’re what lead to prohibition ---

Yep. Meanwhile in WI there’s no annoying laws like that for drinking because WI was founded by drinkers lol (aka northern Europe and like Germans and poles, so on) Only kindof related one is that All the bars have to be closed by 2am but that makes sense so. Also that is more a city to city thing but still ---

Here you can buy alcohol basically anywhere and there is no restriction on when you can buy it. almost every grocery shop and supermarket has aisles full of the stuff so we don’t really have liquor stores because every store pretty much is one. ---

Some are some not. Like the technically not being able to drive red trucks because firetrucks used to just be _trucks that were red and modified from normal trucks_ in the early days of automotives. I guess that’s kind of a close date wise but its for a different thing so meh? There’s a few that are really ancient but a lot of those were gotten rid of over the years so is whatever ---
