Macbook? nope. The Apple Silicon chips moved the memory on die but you can for the Mac Pro at least while its still x86.

thought it was memory on substrate if its on die big oof at barely faster than a 15w laptop amd zen2 chip in single threaded
ye mean’t substrate, there kinda like memory chiplets as part of the SoC package.
ye looked like 2 dies but dunno if thats for both 8/16gb or whatever it was
hopefully amd adds some hbm would be pretty cool, the hbm2 is good for ~256gb/s for 1 stack which is fair bit faster than even epyc with the 8 channels of ddr4
will see though, seemed like was maybe heading to something like that anyways with them splitting off the io die
