I am not saying it is as bad as texas and other parts of the south. They aren’t prepared I am in the north where we get more of this weather annually.

I always found it funny how people shun renewable like solar or wind as being ludicrous as if digging up rocks and burning them for energy isn’t. its literally always there and a whole lot easier to produce why the fuck shouldn’t we just collect it.

It’s a) what they’re used to (change is scary) and b) what they invested in (if you established a comfy way of making money then changing that is annoying, even worse if it’s scary competition).

they arent easier to produce tho :stuck_out_tongue: lithium is a semi precious metal like titanium

alcohol, sugar and yeast, is sorta more renewable then waiting for the next asteroid with lithium to bombard the earth

their turbines did stop tho, but then the artic ones would premature fail in texas too, somethin bearings/lubricants and being designed for specific temperature/operating ranges and then them being used vastly outside the normal range

should have done more nuclear but now there on about people that heat their homes need to have their will broken, because they must use solar only, when geothermal is more efficient lol

then you got same people trying to say hyperloop is gonna work happy about shutting down a pipeline as if they want the us to use more coal instead of the less damaging to the environment natural gas, and instead want them to use trains and trucks to destroy the environment significantly more than using say a pipe to move the fluid, instead moving endless lines of tanks of fuel on a train, because you know thats better for the environment then say a man made river with a smol water pump

i mean imagine a rube goldberg machine to bring shotglasses off water with rc cars and model trains to your shower head versus a stationary pipe

happens in bunch of areas with specific borders,

like county a and b dont plow at exact same time, and they are employed by whichever town/county to do that one area(in some instances) so they just hard stop lift the plow in the middle of a random road or whatever turn around go back do the other side
