ye mean if they add it to multi player games makes it hard to steal/usually cant, since steam multi player and stuff works with the drm. not that it couldnt be done, but then it would probably be relatively trivial for them to ban you from steam
but mean if they bought it cause reviewers didnt say it had the drm before launch etc or they just didnt know, they would just get that bit worse performance, i mean ive downloaded games i paid for before cause drm was bein dumb
