Smoking/Vaping/& Etc Lounge

ye ice cold water has that refreshing feel as its going down. I’d expect it to be much the same but in your lungs?

My smoke for today is a perdomo 20th, Maduro.

So far so good. Going like a chimney lol

Never smoked a cigar. Does it willing stay like that or is it like a cigarette where its just waiting to fall off?

Yes. It actually has a functional purpose in that it helps keep the cherry nice and cool so your smoke stays a very pleasant temperature. It will fall off when it decides to, generally a really well constructed cigar (depending on leaf type of course) will get a nice long ash, like that villiger I smoked awhile back that had its first ash fall in the final third.

I’m not really a fan of cubans it turns out. Too mild for my palate. I’ve got the big brother to that Partagas there, the Serie E no. 2. Not a bad cigar (It was cigar aficionado’s #3 cigar of 2016 after all), just not right for my palate. I think I’d enjoy the Bolivar more since they’re supposed to be more full bodied compared to other cubans (which isn’t really saying much).

I like a lot of the milder cigars if done well; if only because I can actually handle having a whole one in an hour or so. Some of the strong cigars I love the taste of but would take like 2-3 hours for me to actually finish lol.

To illustrate what @ThatBootsGuy was saying; this means it’s hot and may influence the flavor especially at the end of the cigar like this. The ash allows it to cool more allowing for a better flavor profile, as the tobacco is able to get toasted before being burnt. Rather than being so hot it just burns- leading to the typical acidic almost cigarette flavor.

The connecticut was alright, The 3 different infernos I’ve had are good, I love the G (I’ve got 7 tubos left), Cain and Nub are great, and I’ve got a serie V in the humidor resting that I’m really excited for

Master blend III is great, as are the Serie V. (Other post I got them confused lol). I have had some of the lower end ones but not a ton; nubs are neat. I forget all the Oliva brand cigars but they get quite good.
Holt’s has a mega deal for the Master Blend III btw, 20 of them for like $70. Sometimes as low as $50 on sale depending.

Perdomo 10 and perdomo 20 are also up there for me; both are good mid range price wise sticks. Usually are similar to the oliva higher end cigars price wise. They also come in the original version; or Maduro versions if you like them darker.

AB American for me today. Not bad. Not great. Good budget stick at like $4 a stick tho.

Smoke for today; AB The Lineage. A bit stronger than the above, pretty good flavors. Pairs well with a porter. Another good budget stick.

lol when legal weed costs less than illegal weed but its still costs more than illegal weed elsewhere in a state where it isn’t legal? I thought legalisation of this would make things cheaper not more expensive? time to corner the market to undercut the under cutters? XD

Yes but the cartel drive a hard bargain

EDIT: If weed ever becomes legal at the federal level the cartel will probably buy a massive area of land for pennies on the dollar and have half grown plants out there the next night XD

ye I guess you gotta to give it to them, the winners always move with the market and they certainly have more experience than those random boutique growers lol
