Was the hoverboard as fast as the other vehicles?
If you timed the boost flip correctly all the time then yes, just too some practice to get the hang of it.

ive never played a real SNES before but ive some a fair bit of time in super mario world doing kaizo rom hacks and practicing glitches like getting flight before doughnut island
