Theyāre locked down to hell. On the ones weāre using this week weāre basically login into individual accounts on the server via those crappy mini office PCs. Canāt/arenāt allowed to download/install anything. Even MS Office doesnāt have all features cause weād need an MS Account.
Some websites are also blocked (not sure if theyāre using a blacklist or if they block some extensions from websites or if itās Edge thatās even shittier than I assumed - wowhead.com was displayed without images and all text was on the left side).
So until Tuesday (sick leave since yesterday cause itās been coming out of both of my ends) I had to use Edge to browse r/askreddit (text heavy subreddit cause some image hosting sites seem to be blocked). But Iām getting really tired of it (not much new/interesting stuff every day).
edit: Iām not even sure if itās just Windows 10 being shit or if the IT āteamā is stupid but some other people in the course are having trouble using basic features (on one guyās PC/account the Start button doesnāt work at all, so if he wants to use PowerPoint he has to search for a ppt/pptx file via the explorer, then open it, then select to create a new file). Canāt even use āSettingsā to lower the cursor dpi (theyāre hella sensitive and Iām using 3600 at home).

Just the IT team. Windows can be locked down to the point where you cant even use context menus 
Also if you have a laptop, you might ask about a BYOD (Bring your own device) policy

Same issue as with my tablet and logging in via the PCs there: no wifi and I donāt trust that network.
Plus, just for the purpose of doing shit on the internet Iām not carrying my 15.6" laptop around. Canāt even use it for the course stuff cause Iād need MS Office and only have Fedora with LibreOffice on the laptop.

Office 365 is OS agnostic. Not quite on par with the desktop tools but its making headways.
Its windows. Not the hardest thing to get a copy of XD (Whether legitimate or not)

Theyāre incompetent. Some people canāt even use their USB thumb drives to load/save their CVs, applications, etc. (and weāre supposed to work on those). And as far as competence goes, I donāt trust them with data privacy either.

It would be a close call
Great thing about vesa mount monitor. Detach from mount on stand put monitor in original monitor box with the original foam. Put stand in separate box with screws in a ziploc. Yes Iām packing my monitors like this. It works so Iām going with it.
