So youtube stretches its player to auto-fit 21:9 videos and im not sure how i feel about it. Just looks so weird

Yeah Iāve noticed this, youtube has supported it for a long time but iirc its only if the source is uploaded in that aspect ratio, its great for watching gameplay videos and such on an ultrawide monitor but havenāt really seen it on much else.

Yeah Iād say less than 1% of content on youtube is 21:9 so is very weird when it comes up.

I find it useful, especially when I have multiple things open- I just do theatre mode in tabs and it is pretty nice. Would show example but not home atm lol.
21:9 stuff is always annoying in general though on not 21:9 
unless its above way.

So tempting. For what I want it for (literally War Thunder, and maybe a couple other games that are similar) it apparently works quite well. Hmmm. Its somewhere between first gen Oculus and current Vive in terms of specs. 1440x1440 per eye and 90hz, with reasonably good tracking.
Is Lenovo ā¦ But meh? The HP/Dell/etc versions are all $200+ which is annoying. All are essentially the same though.

Discovered some local auctionsā¦ One has an M1 Garand up for auction among other things, will see if I canāt get that. Not that in super into guns but the m1 Garand ā¦ Well, its an M1 garand lol. Though I only put the minimum bid so its not like Iāll actually get it but still.

It creates that āmovie feelingā; I get that, but back in the 4:3 days those were terrible cause you lost so much screen estate and made the actual picture tiny.
But when you have a 21:9 screen it should be quite something.
Then again, with a lot of shit being 16:9 youād have black bars on the left/right on a 21:9 screen.
Just be like me and have a 16:10 screen so you have black bars all the time 
New TV is up and old ancient one is on floor. Not bad. Watching some of the new Iron Fist show and its quite good.

well, the chrysler 300 i was looking at (a 1963) was overpriced and had repairs done to it that were shit, lol. so was not worth the price the guy wanted.
will be heading to some junkyards tomorrow and seeing what all they have for cars, pereferably vintage. and then building/fixing one up if theres any good deals and whatnot. I guess Iāll see tomorrow about that.
Today Iām pretty bored, probably will be gaming mostly to waste time until i can go do things tomorrow so thereās that.
