The thing is the orignal is very good. I mean the Phillip Glass Soundtrack for it is perfect.
It is what I consider to be one of the best modern horror suspense films.
Here is a video review by James Rolf [Angry Video Game Nerd] NSFW Warning:
His knowledge on horror films is very impressive and if you are looking for something to watch during Halloween, I recommend watching his Monster Madness Series from any year.
Pretty much.
I even found a saab… For that matter there was a chrysler Laser or some similar 2 door sports car (probably mid70s to mid 80s, couldn’t really find the name and stuff as parts were stripped from it) that granted had a screwed up engine but the body somehow had no rust and all the internal parts were there. Would have been a fun cheap project but nooo
Oh well. I guess ill have to find something with a title which will be more expensive or maybe not. I guess ill see.
ye bet it did, should be able to get there and back in no time now though. soo since now you can go where you want have much driving planned in the future?
Well thats a shame, least you still have the option though When I learn to drive I want to go to Scotland because its not too far away and they have some really good places to go.
Life Report:
Got first ticket ever… kay. Just going to pay fine and move on. Speeding. Yes I deserved it. No I won’t do it again. Have to wait five days before I get served so I can pay. I have a rough idea how much it will cost.
Project Space Report:
Still in the pleasant part of the memory before I start to slowly gradually twist it.
How odd that they don’t tell you the price of it up front.
Entirely unrelated.
Half tempted to work offshore oil because this rotating shift thing is fucking with my sleep hardcore. Which sucks a lot. I would be fine if I did all days or all nights but switching between them is really hard. Slept like 4 ish hours today because Yeahhh.
Hmm.
I guess I could see what its like. I know a few people so.
That’s a bit high but not terrible actually. More or less what I would pay for a motorcycle. Roughly. Then again I’ve never caused an accident (with anyone else anyway… Lol… May or may not have bent the fender on my van the once or almost wrecked my old sedan once but still xD)
Fuck this hurricane. Got evacuated today from our place in obx, so now we’re chilling in Philadelphia until Saturday. Figures the 1 time I get to go somewhere nice something has to come along to fuck it up.
I guess I randomly got picked to be in the beta of the new Call of Duty Battle Royale thingy Blackout
… I might as well try it as its free rofl… Even if its just call of duty
Not entirely sure how to feel about it other than that.
Also morning all.
Wooo for me having insomnia and only having slept like 4-6 hoursish in the past day since 6pm but uhh otherwise doing OK
Will see if I make it through all 12 hours of work I guess. May be shutting down anyway so theres that.
Huh. Neat. A new hockey film is in the works I guess?
And somehow I’m on the list to know about it. Pretty sure I know the people that the movie is about but not 100% sure. Which would explain that, but still.
Cyberpunk 2077 and RedEngine 4: (Warning may be a long post)
The Gameplay demo is from a modded alpha build but it did offer me insight into how RedEngine 4 works. Now Witcher 3 used RedEngine 3. 4 though is built from the lessons learned from that. 4 appears to handle dynamic lighting and shadows very well. The other is scale. My gosh the level of scale and no load screen is down right impressive. A real time dialog system I think could be a game changer and further evolution of the rpg genre. AI remembers what you do. That is going to be intresting to watch unfold. I’m very curious what the final product will look and play like but so far it has a good foundation.
