Film news:
The Fast and Furious Spin off staring Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson has started filming.
Some background on way this is getting made:
In the most recent F&F film the best thing were Statham and The Rock. Also their interactions on screen were great. They played very well off of each other. From what I know The Rock and Vin Diesel had a falling out. The Rock didnāt plan on being in the next F&F installment. So the people behind the series off him his own potential spinoff [that may become itās own series.].
Thoughts:
It is hard to judge a film that literally just started filming. The Rock as an actor is very bankable and popular right now. Statham will always give his best performance with the material he is given. It has the potential to be good but there is also the other cast, story, and plot of the film to consider. Wait and see on this one.

My prediction. It will be like every other movie that ever exsists. Bad guy takes heros lover and hero goes to the rescue. Few fights and chase scenes later the hero saves the day and the bad guy is defeated

Having some beer after finally done with work lol. Is quite good. Also amusingly named The Kessel Run.
Now watching ā¦ More supernatural for now. Probably will play some WoWs later or something.

Plugged in this GeForce G100 to get a database entry and it burst into flames after getting to the desktop.
I missed a shot of the actual flame by half a second, but thatās a nice cherry red MOSFET.

Got ahold of a Jak and Daxter disk image and fired it up in pcsx2. I forgot how damn addictive this game was.
There is a peculiar issue however, where the eyes of all the people have that whole āJack Skelingtonā thing going on. Another odd thing is only one of Jakās eyes does that. Iām about 1/4 of the way through the game and heās the only one whoās eyes do that.

yep the Jak and Daxter games were great. has to be one of my favorite PlayStation franchises and put soo many hours into them, so much so that when I got the remakes on PlayStation 3 I played them all again almost none stop and didnāt regret it one bit.

Jak and Daxter was one of the first games I had for ps2, and it is the first game I remember actually beating. This was before I had memory cards for it, so I beat it in a day. So many hours put into that game because of thatā¦

As I have them already for PS2 (along with the Ratchet & Clank and Sly games) I didnāt see a need to get them again for PS3 (although 16:9 alone would justify that for me now). And now theyāre overpriced IF you can find them anywhere.

Yeah. It is very true. I mean Iām doing a chapter a weekā¦ which is kinda nuts. Granted 7 might be a week and a few days. Though tomorrow Iām going to spend a fair bit of time on it. Iām pretty happy with the story. Once I finish the first pass Iāll type it up to see how long it really is. I have a feeling it will be much longer than Samās Wasteland within.

ye Iāve heard the expanse is supposed to be a really good read and its very grounded in lore and world building, iirc there was a tv series based on it too which is also said to be pretty good also and is fairly true to the books.

Iāve read the first book. Itās really good.
Interesting fact is two authors write it. The TV Series is also very good. Sy Fy cancelled it after the 3rd season but Jeff Bozo [Amazon Ceo] is a huge fan of the books and show so he got it for Amazon Prime. So weāll get a 4th season with Amazon which means more money to make the show.
