I think the US is ~6-9h behind us (I think for you it’s 5-8h).

Right now its 7:18 PM in US Central time zone so that should give a pretty good idea (east coast is an hour ahead iirc, and west coast is two behind because there’s also Mountain Time zone which is wierd lol)

Yup, it’s 2:20am here.

Me:
morning: when I get up till around 4 hours after I get up
Afternoon: about 6-10 hours after that
Night: either whenever I’m tired or 8 hours after that; whichever comes first xD

I really only notices this stuff when I worked at a bank (office) and I heard people change from “good morning” to “Enjoy your meal” (which is around 11am-1pm). I don’t think there’s an equivalent in English for that, so “enjoy your meal” is kind of a poor translation.

I guess “enjoy your lunch” would be closest but that is still kind of meh
… Still, I get what you mean, kind of a time related thing even if it doesn’t translate well.

Think the closest your gonna get is “have a good day”

idk, that sounds kinda weird as a quick greeting/acknowledgement on the hallway.

Well yeah somewhat. But any greeting here is a courtesy lol… Even just saying hi and not being a douche :stuck_out_tongue:

thats because its not. Its something you say at the end of a conversation to finish it off and show friendliness to the other members

Hey, Thanks for the help
No problem. Enjoy and have a good day

Those are usually my go-tos.

Ah, from time to time I forget how refreshing George Carlin’s misanthropy is

Why must a driving sim setup cost so damn much… If only I had a bit more cash… I’m close to being able to do it, but I need to buy propane for heat…

Hmm… If I just get the wheel and pedals and ignore the shift lever it puts it under $400…

You know, you can buy a whole car for that? Not a good one. probably not even very reliable. But a whole car.

nah, my car is plenty good and already costs me almost that much a month

Was just a comparison how much some parts cost that aren’t even intended for a moving vehicle.
