Sales like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Amazon Prime Week, etc. are a pain in the ass. You really need to know what you wanna buy and then compare and weigh discounts and products as fast as possible (as those sales are limited by time and stock) to know if it’s a good deal or not. I hate shopping like that.
then you get those people who will just grab anything because its on sale even though they don’t really need it, I got this TV for $50 but the one I’ve got a home is much better and I’ve no where else to put it but damn it was such a good deal.
I don’t know if this is just stupidity or a desperate attempt to get a nice present for their family they couldn’t dream of affording without that discount. The latter makes me sad.
On Christmas day if I end up with 10 coffee machines I know where those fuckers came from XD
That would be a amazing christmas for a college student though
Do people really still use conventional coffee machines? If someone got me one of those Nespresso machines I’d thank them for their intention but politely decline. Don’t care for something I suddenly have to buy proprietary parts for (unless I decide to do so myself and purchase the thing that needs it).
My entire family…
lel the college dorm would never have anyone go without coffee again, no more does Steve get to hog the coffee machine.
Same, my mother has one of those and I hate, plus it isn’t really any faster and those pods are soo bad for the environment with the amount of packaging you have for very little coffee. The German government has even banned those in all official buildings XD
For people who consume a lot of coffee (either per person or as a whole household) capsules are fucking expensive.
Also, can’t beat the feeling of one of those (not that I have one but I really dig the american diner style and era):

Dito. My grandmother too but she rarely uses it and at least the capsules are cheaper than Nespresso but I got one of the regular ones…which doesn’t get much use either cause it’s too much coffee per pot for me alone (making less is a waste).
The smart people just use the refillable cups because its actually a pretty good little machine
BUNN is the shit
yea it isn’t a bad machine just don’t like the wastage, I’ve even seen some people modifying the caps that come with it too so you can put your own coffee inside.
Unless something breaks. Repair guy who replaced the one at my mom’s workplace said they’re a pain in the ass to fix and apparently you need some special tools to even get inside.
The one we have is pretty module to make cleaning a breeze
There’s so many different models out now, kinda hard to keep up to date.
Aldi alone has like 6-7 iterations of their standard cheap capsule coffee machine out now (can only buy the newest though).
I found iron fist interesting enough to watch but overall pretty meh. Some screwed up things in it story wise and that’s about all lol. A number of annoyances though throughout.
Luke Cage I’d say is overall good to great? Some issues but mostly there.
Meanwhile I’m super tempted to get a small coffee pot/machine soon so I can make my own coffee whenever I get up and not make 4-6 cups of the stuff every time lol.
Looking at a cheap 1 or 2 cup one for reasons. I even have coffee lol. Just need the thing to make it.
Like one of these:
Luke Cage I consider to be okay.
The big problem with Iron Fist was the actors for the most part weren’t acting well.
Thanks!
Hey, I felt special, at least.
@TheDiddilyHorror lol you’ve made me NOT miss working in retail and miss Twin Peaks in a single scroll motion.
I use a coffee machine for the reason stated above – For my wife and I to have our “daily dose”, we’d be spending $50 a week or two on coffee, versus $30 a month on beans to grind or pre-ground stuff when the market is out of beans.
I’m about to finish Shadow of Tomb Raider pretty soon. Probably could finish it today. When I do, I’m going to focus my gaming time mostly on Bloodborne and Warframe.
