ye the world in that game was gorgeous and very detailed, it really did fit the setting well. perhaps this is the perfect excuse to go back to it sometime though? sadly was never able to beat it either, I played it on my brothers PS4 at the time and for whatever reason I stopped, possibly because some other able game out and I couldn’t get to it anymore.

Disappointed I didn’t get to do my normal 30 minutes of after work writing… I was consulting with my Father on what and when to get a desktop computer for my Mom. It took awhile. I didn’t mind helping though. I’m going to make up that 30 minutes tomorrow.
I spend normal an hour on writing:
10 minutes before work. 20 at lunch. 30 at home.
Tomorrow it will be an hour at home.

Weirdly some critics are complaining that Doctor Who is being Doctor Who…
What? But that’s the point of it. This season so far has been good. I’m enjoying it. I like that so far no classic villains which let’s be real Doctor Who needed a break period from them. I like the chemistry between The Doctor and her companions. I think I’ll stop reading critics reviews of shows I watch. As long as I like the show that is all that matters.

So…there’s a Diablo 4 coming for PC but for some reason they decided to not announce it at Blizzcon at the last minute? Wtf, Blizzard? Did they really think only announcing an outsourced mobile game that looks like a clone of another mobile game from the dev studio developing it would go well? And then asking if people don’t have phones, when asked if there will be a PC version in the future. Jeez, what a clusterfuck…

ye I heard Blizzards stock tanked after blizzcon as people were not too happy about the announcements, looks like Blizzard were scrambling with “we have something” and announced Diablo 4 for pc afterwards to save face?

Either that or someone at their PR department is just running around like Peewee Herman.
The in-game stuff you got with the Virtual BlizzCon Ticket caused some flak as well (no mount for WoW, just a shitty cloak and banner, and they raised the price by $10 to $40 I think).

Seems to be the trend for most of their games now, which sucks especially in years time when the servers are offline and you can’t play it anymore, you know what you can still play forever and its a great game, Diablo 2, used to play the hell out of it with my brother. we used to connect our computers together with Ethernet cable and just play LAN games.

Real money auction house, constant internet connection, mediocre expansion (Reaper of Souls) and even less (Necromancer + some new areas/basically maps), taking forever to finally make the game somewhat enjoyable. I got more enjoyment out of Diablo 2 and Seed of Destruction tbh. The character classes felt better playing (more skills and whatnot), the atmosphere was much better and the story too. The only thing worse in D2 are the outdated graphics and controls.

Quite impressed with the Pixel so far… Lasted the whole 7.5 hours of work playing music to a Bluetooth speaker and while using mobile data. Still at 36% and it started at 80% battery before work. Neat.
Did stay at work longer than I wanted to though because one guy doesn’t understand how to close (stayed an extra hour unnecessarily but oh well).

Even Diablo is better in most ways to Diablo 3 rofl. Except basically graphics. And compatibility but that’s only an issue if you have the hard copy but most people don’t so meh?

Additional Writing Report on Project Space Specifically on the Past Scene I’ve started [Rambling may happen]:
The past scene is from Earth in London. Starts in a Pub. Why a Pub? Well I thought about it and realized based on the main character’s age she would meet her friend there. Also binge watching Peaky Binders may have influenced her being in a pub. Thing is I’m compounding the sense that something could be wrong. This past scene is fundamental for the character and a confrontation she still has not dealt with. So emotions? Yeah. Emotions happen. The scene is going to take a few pages to write.

Not sure of the reasoning but hey you can still get drm free pdf copies somewhere else so not all bad.

ye AMD has really stepped up the mark with these 7nm chips, with the chiplet design their rome cpus incredibly scalable and efficient which puts them too far ahead of competition right now its not even funny, plus cloud provides like Amazon are set to offer zen 2 instances that AMD really might start to make up some of that datacenter market share which makes this a whole lot more interesting to see what Intel will do to complete with this when the time comes.

in other news not sure why but i like Quake Champions now a lot and uhh yeah been playing that now.
work has been slow, then again when it’s cold out it isnt very tourist-y here so makes sense. also from doing this work… well, if i stay for a while will basically then be able to run a whole kitchen at literally any other place that isn’t so busy lol. so that is cool. i guess? still not sure how i feel about working in a kitchen as far as making the actually finished food but i like it so far so.
