I backed both Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous.
Honestly at the rate Star Citizen is doing releases I expect Elite Dangerous to implement Space legs/elite legs before Star Citizen actual comes out of alpha and beta. Also I expect Cyberpunk 2077 will be out before Star Citizen comes out of alpha and beta.

Microsoft Studios has acquired both Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment.
Microsoft track record is bad. Wait and see but RIP for what they once were.

Obsidian Entertainment legitimately makes some of my most favourite games ever and this news makes me slight apprehensive as to what Microsoft will do to them going forward, as you said their track record with acquisitions isn’t the greatest and they have a tendency to close studios, look at Lionhead for example. They made some great games like the early fables, the movies and I fucked loved the Black & White series to death but Microsoft eventually ran that studio into the ground before closing them which made me very upset.

There is also how they have treated Remedy Entertainment with both Alan Wake and the extreme micromanagement of Quantum Break. Microsoft is on my list of They are just as bad as EA as far as game publishing and development goes.

So my brother being the person he is has just opened the washing machine door with such force that it snapped the electronic locking mechanism clean off. probably gonna have to tell my mother in the morning and she’s not gonna be best pleased, even less so when finding it I fixed it by hot gluing it back onto the frame but hey its holding and still works which is all that matters to me right now.

It seems that Microsoft is retarded beyond comprehension. Now that I have a complete Win7 Pro key I can’t download the Media Creation Tool cause apparently keys from machines that came with Windows pre-installed don’t work. I’m surprised I can’t even download the iso with Linux (as MS likes to detect the OS, had that problem with the Win10 iso).
