no that was Sim Cities whatever the fuck (the newest one)
Cities Skylines is a fair bit older but also has a ton of DLC/addons so is far better. and is very complex lol. the road systems ⌠well, they get ridicolously insane real fast.
is like if a modern Sim Cities actually was a thing (like the old Simcity 2000/etc. not the newer ones).

Iâve been playing quite a bit recently and the traffic AI is absolute trash, even with Traffic Manager Presidentâs Edition. I give them 6 lane roads and they insist on using 1 lane

lol. Mine usually sits around <+10k, but I also donât have unlimited cash or anything. Went from the ground up and now weâre at about 80k people (when theyâre not experiencing a massive death wave that is).

Installing Windows on this old PoS is a pain in the ass.
Had to use a website not associated with MS to download Win7 Pro (got both 32bit/64bit while I had the chance). Installed it. First key not working. Okay, maybe cause itâs 64bit? Letâs try 32bit then. Nope, thatâs not it. Letâs try the other key. Canât verify cause no internet connection. Has no fucking ethernet drivers installed. Letâs download themâŚbut which? Broadcom? Intel? Ralink? No idea whatâs in that PoS (and not labeled). Okay, letâs get some hardware info softwareâŚSiSoft Sandra doesnât show the fucking network stuff in the free version (waste of time installing it). Speccy is equally useless without the drivers installed. Letâs just try the Intel onesâŚsuccess! Okay, time to verify the key. Success!
WaitâŚwhy is the GPU listed with only 14mb? It should be 1GB. Letâs get the driverâŚtoo old. And OEM part. No GT 218 listed. Also, the card only has 2x DVI, no VGA or even HDMI like the GPUs in the search results. What kind of PoS is this?

Say, @Michael & @Dje4321, do you happen to remember if I had any success reinstalling Win8.1 on my laptop a few years ago or if it was the reason why I installed Fedora?
Asking cause I donât remember anymore and my mom wants an SSD in her laptop (no key, no disc). I vaguely remember not being able to find a proper product key with Aida64 and the likes.
Not sure how to proceed with this. Not a fan of cloning Windows and my mom already said she doesnât want linux -_-
nvm, seems like I got it cleared up. with no key sticker anywhere the key usually seems to be embedded in the BIOS, but Iâll run a key viewer next time Iâm at my momâs.
But all the talk about swapping her HDD for an SSD makes me want to get another SSD for my PC and laptop. Gotta check the prices on Amazon and see if a good sale comes up during Cyber Monday week.
edit: also, I just remembered that I already have the drivers (network, chipset, card reader, etc.) on one of my backup drives, and had to use them before, so apparently I already did a fresh install of Win8.1 on my laptop before without issues.

So itâs launch day for theRX 590 ⌠aaand Is 10% (maybe) faster than the 580 (depending on the game) and costs $280⌠Meanwhile RX 480/580s can be had for $200 or less.

RX 480s are $100 on eBay. I bought a Sapphire NITRO+ RX 480 8GB for $98.50 shipped last night.
The RX 590 is pretty redundant at nearly $300 when Vega 56 can be had for that price all over the place.

So rather strangely the RX590s and RX580s retail here are both just around ÂŁ250 respectively and in some cases can even get one cheaper
