No more window open at night without the fly screen. Seems that the heat from my room still acts as an invitation for spiders. Good thing I saw it on the ceiling before it could crawl into a gap.

Same thing happens with data but you can do more advanced things.
With stuff like video/audio you can have lossy compression (Almost all video/audio has been lossy compressed at some point) because you dont need the extra little bits of detail

This is a long drive lol. What normally takes 1.5 hours to do has taken me nearly 2.5. and Iām only half way there rip. Oh well, I only have to be there at 6am so still have time.

Have I ever mentioned that I hate troubleshooting BSODs?
The newest one is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, occuring after different amounts of time playing WoW (from an hour or so to even occurring at the start of the game).
I can rule out RAM, as the 15h 18passes memtest session showed 0 errors even with OC applied.
The newest Windows 10 drivers are installed (which could be the source of various bugs itself).
All drivers are up to date and I think I narrowed it down to the latest AMD GPU driver (actually both 18.12.2 and 18.12.3) as the cause (some people on the interwebz seems to have the same problem).
Soā¦until AMD fixes it I guess I canāt play WoW.
And re-installing the driver is a royal pain in the ass. Both DDU and AMDās Utility thing also wipe the chipset drivers which means a few rounds of reboots and installing 2 sets of drivers. Nice.
Yesterday was pretty boring, worked from 12-8 and mostly just watched the new people to make sure they didnāt mess up. Oh and I cut my finger on a broken growler some genius put inside a box in the recycling bin (went to grab the box I didnāt know had the growler in it and yeah rip finger).

Oh also my SSD showed up, will test it out later after I find a USB with win 10 on it again.

Itās 7 degrees out. Yesterday was below zero and my driver side door handle sheared off because of how cold it was (damn plastic getting cold lol). Door wasnāt even frozen shut but handle just broke anyway. Rip. That will be fun to fix later.

For my BSOD situation: yeah, dead ram stick. Still baffled how it would manage 18 passes in Memtest86 without a single error and then suddenly shit the bed.
Called Amazon just now and Iāll be getting a refund and ordering a different kit. 2 for 2 defective doesnāt sit well with me. Most certainly wouldnāt trust a 3rd kit of the same model even if it ran stable at 4600MHz 24/7.
Iāll probably get another Trident Z kit - either C14 or 16 (the latter is cheaper by ~18ā¬ but will get here 21 days later then the other kit). And Iāll only run it at 2933MHz. No more RAM OC for a while.
Itās annoying to troubleshoot the expensive parts cause how many really have spare parts lying around they know will work 100%? Canāt just buy another mobo and CPU to rule those out (but with one stick throwing up in every RAM slot should be a clear diagnose).
It is the holidays lol. Between work and recovery from various family get togethers I have been rather tired lately That and the driving around during blizzards.
I might finally have some free time after work today though as I have mon/Tues off so thereās that
