The controversy about the ending of ME3 shouldāve been an indication. And the fact that itās still published by EA.
No EA, no Ubisoft, no Activision, no Take2.
If their games are good theyāre bound to have shady business practices implemented.
If their games are shit (riddled with bugs, not enough budget, etc), theyāre shit.
Plus, they pump out the same crap every year with unimportant changes.

Theyāre a business selling a product based on market research. No more passion. The only motivation and goal is money - as much as possible (and then still complain itās not enough).
Bullshitting excuses (we need to put microtransaction into games, theyāre expensive to make), shady business practices (lootboxes that are practically a form of gambling, forcing people to invest more money if they want to progress without spending hours and hours of farming or waiting) and bullshit marketing that costs a huge portion of the overall budget (instead of putting that money towards development and beta testing).
No matter the game, I refuse to give them money. Not even pirating as it would show interest in their games.
But less profit than expected will unfortunately only lead to another dev studio under their control being closed. Because of stupid decisions the publisher made for the game. Because of criticism the publisher deserves, not the dev studio. After all, the publisher has the final say in what state a product is released.

The only good mass effect game was 1. 2 was too much of a turn off to play 3. in mass effect 1 i actually felt like exploring. In 2 it felt like a rush for the finish

Which is too bad because now the Thief series is deadā¦ then again, the Dishonered series is a thing nowā¦ so meh?

During December I got another Chromebookā¦
It was a steal at $300 for what I got.
Chrome OS has changed a bit since I last used it. Like I can install Android Apps and Linux stuff.
Iāll post the Chromebook and other stuff I got later. I got a good chunk so Iām waiting till I get all of the items so I can take the pictures all at the same time.
Battery life says it goes to 12 hours but with I use it which is moderateā¦ it ends up being 8 hours.

it really isnt that different than any other console, just the size of it can be annoying.
The shape of the buttons is annoying to me. Small circle, big circle, 2x crescent shapes and that additional shoulder button on just one side.

Yeah that news is real. Now whether or not it comes out is a different story.
Disclaimer: I was a tester for Slightly Mad Studios for Project Cars 2. I was not the only tester. There were many of us. A lot of the testers are hard core race enthusiast. Some of them are the professional drivers for different teams. I personally am a rally race car die hard enthusiast. I can look at Project Cars 2 and say yeah a lot of insane amount of work went into this. The irony is even though I helped make it, I donāt play it often.
Thoughts: There are too many unknowns about this. Honestly Iād advise against entering the console market. It has 3 right. I donāt think there is room for a fourth. Exclusives sell them though and getting AAA companies to make an exclusive would be tough for a fourth console. However if they focused it on getting indie devs instead and offered them tools. Then price the system at a reasonable price, it may work. Even then it is too risky. I wonāt be getting one.

If you are asking for yourself and I didnāt know you ever were a lounge shepherd. The answer is Personal Reasons. I know you may be curious but I have my reasons for not stating the whole of why. I ask you to not inquire any further about it.
