How much effort does it take to make those old games 16:9? Cause GBA games would be neat too.
not sure all the current games are in 4:3. with 16:9 all you can really do is stretch or crop them to fit the screen so it depends on how good it’ll look scaling those up. I did used to play GBA games on my gamecube though and stretched them to 16:9 on my TV and it wasn’t too terrible but most of the time i kept them in the native aspect ratio.

Haha. Discovered there’s a mobile version of Virtual Desktop built specifically for the Oculus go and it’s miles better than the other streaming I was using. Only downsides are a) it cost $10 and b) can only do a virtual desktop, not fully immersed VR.
But the latency and video quality is so much better. Will see about capturing some screenshots/video to show it a little. Would stream it but that would require resetting up my dual rig thing which is meh.

but i tried capturing the virtualdesktop thing… it didnt work that well. because phone hardware streaming to another phone makes for potato quality. but its actually quite high quality in the headset, to the point where the screendoor is minimal, can even read the writing on the wine bottles and movie titles in the showcase thingy, this headset is actually really good… when ran properly. possibly better screen than the desktop versions, which makes sense as the Oculus Go has a second gen display.

-when the headset does 1280x1440 per eye but the casting software only does 4mb/s max and limits screenshots to 600p

I don’t understand how Amazon’s return policies work.
Sent several damaged single CDs back last year which are were ~4-7€ each.
Got the triple CD today which was 12€, got damaged during shipping (because how could it not?) and when I put in a request to send it back for a replacement, the only option was for a refund and then it tells me I don’t have to send it back. What?
4-7€ -> send it back for a replacement
12€ -> get a refund and keep the damaged product (which is functional)

…Working a ReShade for Metro 2033 Redux and Last Light Redux for when I do a replay through of them. Which won’t be till after the Mass Effect Trilogy replay. Yes I’ll get the new Metro just not yet. I’ll also get the Resident Evil 2 Remake eventually. Most free time is spent on writing as it should be.

rip apeiron, the standalone mod for KoTOR.
TL:DR Lucasfilm is very, very intent on being the only people that make any star wars related content, so a new game with KoTOR IP is a no go. even if it came out free to play as a mod. oh well.
This is such a stupid product I feel sorry for the engineers who spent all the time and money going to school only to make this stupid thing.

Dragon Age Inquisition is done. Hooray… though tragically my characther ended up not having a romantic relationship… even though they attempted one. Oh well. I beat the game again. Now onto replaying Mass Effect Trilogy.
