Who wants video game news at 5:00 AM ET cause Iām very awake [Iām a person who once Iām up itās over no matter the time soā¦]:
Control comes out in 2 weeks [Except steam which is is 1 year from nowā¦ Yes I got it on Epic and also doing a very detailed review of it.] The Control discord is very hyped right now. Weāre a small discord server but very passionate. Also the fanart and memes have been amazing.
BL3 - I legit canāt ever buy or support a gearbox made game. I donāt even want to replay BL or BL2. The news about BL3 Copyright takedownsā¦ yeah there is some shady stuff going on.
A new Saints Row game is in the works. Look it isnāt surprising. The makers tried to do a different ip and it bombed hard. Partly because it wasnāt Saints Row and also cause it was meh. Donāt know what the new Saints Row will be like but I really want to go back to the tone of Saints Row 2. The tone in that game is great and you play as a real terrifying villain. Not a hero. Not an anti hero. This is a villain with a lot of rage. A very lovable villain. Also being able to go up to a mailbox and use it as an improvised weapon, kinda amazing. That feature though got dropped in the sequels. Wait and see on the new one.
Timesplitters - Yeah I got some news on this. The Co-Creator is working for the current right holders. Now that isnāt much news but weāll see another Timesplitters, it just may be a bit. What about that fan project Timesplitters Rewind - Thatās a bit dicey. I donāt know. I stopped following it, after the new rights holder got announced.
Anthem - The lead developer left. This game is dead to me. Havenāt played it since April. I have zero confidence in Bioware and their ability to make a good Dragon Age game. Theyāre dead to me.
Kinda Retiring from gaming - Separate but still related news.
Iāve mentioned before that Cyberpunk 2077 could be the last game I get. Iāve decided to just start acting on that now. No longer will buy games with Microtransactions or Games as a live service. Iām tired. Iām old. I donāt have time. The only way to win the war is to not play or buy.
That said itāll be like I do with comics. Indies and real games.

Things Iāve learned me at 5 am is brutal and savage. Also more rambling than normal yet still coherent.
Any way. I do plan to still keep playing Destiny 2. bungie has made the game into something pretty solid and Shadowkeep looks promising. I do plan to get it. The changes they announced sound pretty neat. Iām really curious they do on their own without Activision Blizzard breathing down their neck. wait and see.
Woo. Busy week lol, bought a car and then fixed it some but then also the transmission needs work so had to do a fun ride all the way to the transmission shop, which was all the more interesting because I wasnāt able to get the new tires on it (because imo the transmission is more important lol) so could only go like 35mph tops. Took like 30mins to go 10miles. But once I got it there it was a much better place than I thought, a small shop that has people that actually seem to know how to fix things and do a good job. Has good reviews as well so it worked out. Was a good thing I got it there asap though as the transmission was leaking so bad I had to put in 3quarts of fluid (it only takes 4).
But now it should be fixed and once it is, itāll be sooo much nicer to drive. Well after I get new tires as well that is.
In other news tech school is fine.
In other other news after I dropped the car off me & my class went out partyingā¦ Between buying and fixing my car yesterday/day before I was up for 28 hours off of a 5hour night of sleep so it got interesting.

So the toilet in the bathroom was blocked and the water was way more than half way to the top and in an attempt to unblock it my sister decided it would be a great idea to flush the toilet hoping the extra water would unblock it but ofc it overflew the rim and flooded the bathroom

Me with an RTX 2080 TIā¦: But itās minecraftā¦ RAY TRACING isnāt going to stop minecraft from still being minecraft.
I banned myself from ever playing it because no writing would ever happen. Iād still be working on my massive floating city [though I lost that save many years ago. much regret in not knowing how to back up minecraft].
Besides I got Control next week which was designed with Ray Tracing from the start. Donāt be surprised if I donāt post at all that day.

lol, went to the shop and it was neat. owner of the place kept asking me if i wanted to fix it and i was like
yes most definitely. he seemed to be worried though as a lot of people dont realize the expenses associated with fixing transmissions and things or something. but after talking with him, he definitely knows a lot and seems to be a good mechanic, he noticed some things and talked about them that i hadnt necessarily thought of and also went into detail on brakes and things which is interesting for a trans shop to know about. but i digress.
he also noticed it was going into 2nd gear not 1st, on top of the leaking. which is odd. but theyll be taking it apart over the week so i should know soonish whatās up with it. did let him know about the above linked site though.

yep and yep. kinda works now but content wonāt load. time to wireshark and whitelist all the domains for my VPN firewall rule.

Decided to just use openvpn directly on my machine instead of going through the headache of whitelisting everything in pfSense lol
but I also blocked myself from the forum because my dns thinks its at 10.0.20.2 and canāt reach that through the VPN lol
