Remember when Steve from GN made a video about Rockstarā€™s customer support?

That video is 4 years old at this point so one should expect they have improved their support. Iā€™m not holding my breath of course but Iā€™ll give it a shot.

Rockstar not making RDR2 for PC and implementing a literal casino into GTA V shows how much they care about PC.

Remember Maybe never meant I wouldnā€™t post.

The following is a Non-Spoiler Impression of Control [I played two hours]:
TLDR - This is my favorite game since Hellblade: Senuaā€™s Sacrifice.

  • No DRM. You can launch the game without the Epic Launcher.
  • Keyboard and Control Buttons all can be reassigned which is amazing
  • Support for PS4 and Xbox One Controller
  • They have a sign language overlay for the deaf. I donā€™t use it but I think itā€™s neat they have that for people.

How is Ray Tracing?
Context I have an RTX 2080 Ti. It is stunning. This game is so well done with how it does the lighting.

21:9 Support: Yes.

Tone:
Ultra Dark. This is by far Remedy Entertainment Oyjā€™s Darkest game.

Gameplay:
Amazing. This game does tell you how to play it but you got to play it. Just observe your surroundings.
Combat is well paced. Iā€™ll lightly touch on abilities in the story bit.

Level Design:
One Part Inception Brutal Architect mixed with Metrovania vibe. Iā€™m in awe of how well every level is. I would talk more about level design but itā€™d be spoiler area and I donā€™t want to do that.

Story:
The tone from the start of the game reminds me of Hellblade: Senuaā€™s Sacrifice. This story is a dark supernatural self exploration. The abilities you gain are apart of the story and you learn more about the world as a result. Collect everything you can. You gain more insight into the world as a result and the lore.

Conclusion:
This game meets and exceeds all my exceptions. It is a joy to play and Iā€™m going to enjoy playing it. Writing and studying come first though.

For the just do it challenge over on the other forum I decided to actually finish a song and do a solo with some structure instead of my usual ā€œsolo goes here so letā€™s just improv for 5 minutes or soā€

My car will have a diagnosis by tomorrow probably, they got the transmission out and are taking the front of it apart (the leaking part) today so thatā€™s nice.

Also neat; the base Iā€™m heading to has this there

As if I needed another reason not to give 2K any money. Fuck publishers who keep implementing loot boxes and pushing the limits of them.

Only way this stops is with either government pressure or a all out boycott from the buyers. Nothing else will stop this.

You could pick almost any sport game from the last decade and they all would be pretty decent XD

iirc it was either 12 or 13 when they moved to the vc system of upgrading your mycareer player instead of the old xp system which tied your online to offline and increased the already heavy grind. VC was also how you paid for cosmetics etc online and you could pay real money to get it (a la shark card). 11 didnā€™t have any of that crap

one heckin list of things i need to do to my car after i get it back lol, after the transmission and tires are done that is.

  • replace fuel filter
  • tape up all the random wiring on the car as a lot of the plastic has worn off on it
  • check brake fluid and refill as needed
  • check all the master cylinders on the brakes, which is more fun on my car because it has dual master cylinder system for all four drum brakes (to make sure the brakes will still work)
  • test the brakes after checking on the fluid and master cylinders to see if they hold up fine
  • completely strip out all the old carpet, clean down the the metal of the floor, and then prime and put on bed liner to stop rust before redoing the carpet at some point
  • sand down the exterior rust and then clear coat it, and also clean + wax the rest of the exterior of the car
  • grease all the door and other hinges on the car so they all open and close as they should
  • get a seat cover for my seat so it doesnā€™t fall apart (until i can get new seats/interior, it will have to do)
  • get a new antenna for the radio, not that the AM only one needs it but the car looks funny without a radio antenna
  • adjust the horn so it doesnt go off every time i so much as touch the button for it (like it does atm)
  • change the oil +filter

also some other things, lol.
iā€™ll probably make some videos about the various things if i have time, because why not :stuck_out_tongue:

in other news got a boombox to throw into the car for music on the ride home + to my first base, and as a side bonus for here in the meantime. its some random one but seems decent. will see how it is when it arrives todayā€¦ one day shipping is neat.

also HI
