If you have the reply window open in the other topic and viewing the lounge you can highlight and quote and iāll go in the reply for the other topic.

So after reading reviews of The Surge 2 I decided to get it.
The Following are my impressions of it so far:
The combat has a little learning curve for figuring out how to target specific parts. It becomes very fluid once you get the hang of it. After that combat became pretty satisfying. It has a nice flow and pace. Iām pass the first boss and in the open world. Character creation is basic but has a good bit of options. I do plan to keep playing but it wonāt be a primary game. This falls into a secondary game.
Primary Game:
This is the main game I focus on. I pay attention to and give it everything I got. Right now that game is Control. Yes I beat the main game but there are still plenty of side missions for me to do and secrets to uncover and the combat is very satisfying.
Secondary Game:
This is a game I play in short burst. It has my attention for 30 minutes or an hour but Iām not dedicating everything to it. Warframe, Destiny 2, The Division 2, and now The Surge 2 are all apart of that. Note a Secondary can briefly become a Primary when a major update such as story content hits. So when Shadowkeep comes out next week for Destiny 2, itāll be a primary for a little bit along with Control.
On my IT A+ Cert Course:
Learning about Local Area Networking. Iām having to do that bit in 30 minute/1hour chunks over the next couple of days. Today was Intro to TCP/IP, Network IDs & Subnet Masks, and Special IP Addresses. This is some meaty information Iām learning about.
Writing:
Almost finished rewriting Chapter 1. Then a little bit of editing and tweaking. Afterwords, Iāll pm a few people who provide the original feedback and ask if theyād be interested in reading the rewrite to see
how I took and ran with the feedback.
Water:
Iāve decided to mostly from now on just drink water with Soda be very occasional. Why? Health. Also itās silly cheap. Oh and no, Iām not talking about from a plastic bottle. I got a glass bottle that I clean and refill.

last night was strange. I had dreams where i was entering dreams where i was entering dreams, etc. But it happened so fast that i kept waking up and had no idea what the dreams were about

The mind is a weird thing. I regularly get dreams where Iām dreaming but wake up inside that dream and it feels soon real until you actually wake up from that dream too. Really throws your sense of reality never knowing if something is real or if itās your mind playing tricks and yet still in another dream.

The Last of US II is coming out in February of 2020.
I am getting it.
Iāve often spoken of the Last of Us as the one game that was almost perfect. Like it was very very close to it with some very small issues.
Iāve been in media blackout for the Last of Us II since it was announced. I only saw the original announcement trailer for it and that was it. I have to keep it that way for me because the first one mattered a great deal to me. 2020 is going to be a very good year for me.

< pretty much only waiting for dying light 2 so far
as cyberpunk 2077 still has terrible marketing for it so far(least that ive seen even in the videos of them playing the game for like 15min straight or whatever) they somehow entirely miss almost as if they are trying to hide, what the gameplay is, if its any good at all basically. is just a long ass look at this story/world element we added its gonna be a cool world guys
edit: ex, in the e3 dying light thing they showed, they showed legitimate new features to engine/world design that changed some of the stuff for free running, while showing new better animations/new movements/movement abilities etc
specific examples:
enemies can now grapple onto you while you are climbing in attempt to pull you back down, where in say dying light, if you were ontop of a post that a viral could climb, the ai couldnt let it climb if there was no space above for it to stand, where now if you climb on a wall they can climb up and grab onto you while you are still trying to climb
they added moving objects, physics and trigger based items you can free run on, like you can rope swing, or knock down a post and ride it across a thing, saw something like a broken gantry which acted like a seesaw they had to run across, they had a big spinning thing(like a wind mill actual mill part, but was gears or something) that they rode to jump in a different direction, apparently can run across the top of stuff like they showed a row of posts(for like a fence thru a section of water) with animation for them hopping from post to post(although the shadow animation was a bit weird during that like it was using a place holder 3rd person view animation or something to set the shadow)
added blocking/parrying that they showed in combat
would have to look back but looks they may have changed the optimization stuff a bit(before there was a thing where if there was large group of enemies only so many would actually be active with the full ai, and the rest would have some simpler idle ai where they couldnt be damaged/had much more limited actions) least from first view looked they were more active in the larger group i had seen, not sure if thats just improved idle ai, or higher number of them with full ai, etc
continued to show good far view distances and stuff, lots of graphics features/filters etc

oh yeah while they were showing that shit they were talking about quests and stuff, where a main guy died because they left to chase another main guy they thought cause the first to get shot, then later turned on some pumps to give water back to the city, but then grained a pretty large area(like a few blocks square or something) unlocking new missions/enemy type, the whole area with algae and stuff growing on the buildings from being completely flooded,
that they could have not turned on the pumps(as the second guy that didnt order the guys to shoot the first) was trying to explain about, apparently he knew that the area was flooded to try to trap the new enemy type or something

so it will have slightly better graphics and be more stable but will still be boring?
I think I should finish my Local Area Network Course by Thursday.
Writing is on pause to focus on studying. Iāll mainly just write on Saturday and Sundays but I canāt split my time between studying and writing if I want to pass the Cert. Itās just the way I am with testing. But I can write on the weekends though.

Its great fun though 
Graphics sucks ass but has real mod support that helps a ton. Is probably the most creative elder scrolls games if a bit unbalanced. Can lead to it being more or less fun depending on how you like to break things. Probably Tied for second place with skyrim for best elder scrolls game with morrowind easily taking first. FUCK cliffracers though
