That’s what my brain tries but gets overwhelmed with the sheer amount of likely and unlikely events and possible solutions (and what changes those solutions might need in any number of other situations that come up).

Have you tried Hearthstone? xD

ive played a little. more of a magic person.

Im pretty good at it if im allowed to make my own deck but i hold my own with a random deck ive been given

Shogi? Go?

sorta. i do alot of culling though to remove the highly unlikely ones and focus on the ones that are more important.

Yeah me too… but that gets really expensive really fast lol. At least with Hearthstone you can keep it free if you have some capacity for self control.

Wine?

Gwent is very interesting. I’ve played it some on my brother Witcher save but haven’t tried the spin off game yet which is apparently a lot different and more involved and closer to stuff like Hearthstone.

i try and avoid wine like the plague unless they are older titles that have no chances of getting a port

Good thing I never wasted (much) money on Magic cards. Hearthstone made me realize I have no talent for those card games. A quick round against the computer? Sure (okay, maybe). But I’m no match for human players.

Since I’m temporarily not playing WoW, I might experiment with linux and gaming. Not into big AAA titles anyway, for the most part I’m only interested in classic point n click adventures and some RPGs.

Oh, shit. Monster Hunter World probably won’t be released for linux…damn.

I’m trying to get a few hours of sleep. Thanks for listening to my nervous rambling, everyone.

Gaming on Linux is now really damn good if you focus on all the great indie titles, not such much for AAA stuff but its slowly getting better.

night good luck with the appointment tomorrow.

WoW should run just fine on wine if you but a little effort into it

True, a lot of older MMOs work pretty well in wine, GuildWars also works great as well. iirc doesn’t WoW even out preform native Windows in certain cases? I talked to somebody about it a while back and he said he was getting better performance in Wine than he ever did on Windows with it.

the massive performance came from wine not running all the boat windows does

yep which is why wine is great particularly for running older games. Can get way more out of them and even run them on less powerful hardware that otherwise wouldn’t work well.

Kind of interesting points in this.

Makes me rethink the YT thing a bit, but meh
Also some fair points about how mining works and so on.
Also lots of jokes at Logan lel
