Well, since you’ve been gone I’ve been in Texas, bought a 1965 car, drove said car back to WI after tech school and then drove to CA which is where I am now lol. Also I have a Volvo and a Civic now.
And uhh yeah.
Lately, moved partially to a friend’s and setup my audio gear here

And also got some free furniture here. Because reasons.

Also in other news just started actually working this week which is nice.

That’s a hell of a lot of driving.

Something around 3600 miles, lol. 1300 of which was in a car with no cruise or heat/AC :stuck_out_tongue:

In that same time frame I’ve traveled a little more then twice that, but that was by plane

That sounds like absolute shit

ur fine not like you a southerner or something

It was in October so not too bad as far as temp wise. Rain was annoying because the wipers also didn’t work rofl but I had rainx on it so still could see and everything.

The cruise control was vaguely annoying.
I also discovered when I got back and my grandpa who has all the tools to fix it, that one cylinder wasn’t even firing and 3 others had loose spark plugs lmao but after finding that I put in nice iridium spark plugs and my grandpa cleared the crap out of the one cylinder so now it runs wayyyy better. But I was lucky on the way up.
Surprisingly it got 16-18 mpg even with all the stuff wrong though, not bad for a 1965 v8 pulling 3000lbs of station wagon.

Sounds like by all rights that things shouldn’t have been able to make that trip

What can I say, when I set to do something I do it lol. Even if I was running a car without any safety features, manual brakes, Manual steering, and above issues rofl. And that was after a completely rebuilt transmission and brand new tires so at least that won’t break anytime soon.

But now my mechanic grandpa is restoring it back In WI for when I sell it or take a week off to drive it here, whichever happens first. Because of gas here it probably won’t be here in CA until I can afford it, probably a couple years from now. But if I do sell it when it’s restored, it’s a $15k or so car so.
