fuck if it costs that much just to install them I’d rather do it myself.
Ye, would probably be what i end up doing but i dont really have many tools so would be fairly hard todo
ye always seems to be the case maker space couldn’t help with that or it needs more specialised tools?
it could but auto maintenance is a pretty gray area currently due to some legal restrictions. Plus its fucking freezing outside and this would take several hours. Better to loose that $140 for the day and cut my losses
ye isn’t really worth all that hassle if it could be avoided by just not doing it in the first place.
On some cars it’s easy, some not but either way it involves popping the interior trim of the door off to get into the handle mechanism. I’ve done it on the Hyundai that I had.
Also, @Dje4321 for later use a lighter can sometimes warm up the handle if you do it carefully and it’s and older car. If it’s newer opening the handle and then grabbing the door up by the window and prying it open usually works to break that ice.
Frozen doors are normal where I’m from lol
inb4 what is a car cover
no defrosting windows nothin
just have to have a big ass plastic storage bin to fold it up and ram into in back seat/trunk or somethin
Car door wouldnt even put enough for me to get me hand in there and pry it apart
I’d suggest a tool to help but that can be dangerous to windows and things so
Can also dump hot water on the car if you have a bucket of any decent size.
yes but then i have to deal with water that will then refreeze XD
Not if you open the door and start the heater lol
Is it possible to damage the windows by doing that?
It would but I think the idea is to put the hot water on the paneling around the door and not the window its self? otherwise it would cause stress fractures from the heating and cooling.
By carefully putting the hot water (doesn’t even need to be hot, can be warm) around the edges of the door to try to get the ice out it’s not too bad. Besides that the safety glass is pretty good at resisting temp changes. But as long as it’s not changing the temp of all the window generally it’s not too big a deal.
Also, windows only really shatter from temp changes below 0F and if you put boiling hot water on, room temp or warm/hot water won’t be that big a deal if it’s only a 60-80 degree difference
Edit;
Also, heat guns are awesome for frozen doors lol. As long as you are careful not to burn the paint or anything rofl
Or if you want a fun day a gas torch can work
But the above two I would only use in emergency
Oh actually @Dje4321 if you put dielectric grease or Vaseline in the door lock whenever you do get it open again, it’ll prevent the water getting into it.
Then the only thing that’ll freeze is the edges of the door, which is easier to open because usually it’s a thin layer.
@TheDiddilyHorror still waiting for a game to be less gae about subscription fees lel
like say 30 days, meant you played atleast 30min on 30 separate days, like say you played 5 days a week for 20 days in a month normally, but then you had a vacation so you only played 15 days, youd still have 15 days left when you came back, or if you stopped playing mid month you could resume 6 months later with 1/2 the month etc
That would be great if only the time counts when you’re logged in/playing the game. But no company would do that or rather there would also be people who’re against it if they like sold 24h game time cards for 24h of actual playtime instead of 30 days and the countdown starts when you add it to you account. I have no idea how much the average MMO player plays a game per day/week/month but the statistic would be interesting.
dunno thats why figure days would be easier/less bonus for the people then hours
like 30 separate days(not logins cause if your internet dropped or something would be sucky to use multiple days in 1) as opposed to just giving you 720 hours or whatever which if you played for like 4hrs a day would last a long ass time
Dunno if you can pause/cancel subscriptions if you contact support.
But it’s the same with all subscriptions. You don’t only pay for the time you spend at the gym, you pay for all the hours it’s open and you could theoretically spend there, not the time you actually spend there.
Or with streaming services. And they also have the problem of not being able to use them when you can’t access the internet (be it the ISP’s fault or someone else’s).
prolly not on most services lel
< just saying less jump from 30 consecutive days, to 30 total days, then to you have 720hrs of use down to the hour/minute whatever
but no one will lel
