Yup, if they don’t come in person they’ll mail or drop them off
but instead of the 20/day we had left it’s now down to 4/day.

So overall less $/day. That sucks.
And I hope they mail it or drop it off without making contact with any of you there.
People are still behaving retarded despite all the warnings and regulations.
I’m not worried about it… there are like 5 cases on the edges of my region of 2500 sq mi.
And it’s pretty sparsely pouplated at 82-83 people per sq mi.
That’s over the whole of the region, my area is closer to like 20-30 people per square mile.
Still. When the first cases were reported in China I thought “meh, just like SARS or all the other things that never made it here or were only isolated cases”. Now we have over 2600 infected in a country with 9m people. There are places where people frequent, like grocery stores, supermarkets, etc. It could be someone just passing through town, stopping for lunch and infecting others. The long incubation period certainly isn’t helping.
The ones being dumbest about it around here are the boomers…
Being dumb knows no age. Look at all the spring breakers.
well media and what not trying to freak people out
eventhough from their own reportings/public information isnt that bad,
when say italy says 99.2% of the people that died had preexisting conditions, and 75% had high blood pressure etc(like more likely to have stroke, heart attack etc aswell)
then when you have them also saying from official sources, legitimate estimates there are probably 5-10x as many cases as repoted, meaning say a 3% deathrate becomes something like 0.6~0.3%, and if you arent one of those 99% with preexisting conditions, or say below 65, probably like 0.1-0.15% or something
when they also report only like 15% would need medical attention, the people that make money from scaring you telling you that, is probably a high estimate anyways, and also again 5-10x the cases talking 1.5-3%, if you are below 50~65 probably less than half of that
sure you could say that many people at once going to hospitals would be a problem, but freaking out mass amounts of people, getting them to think they are going to die if they get a common flu(since same symptoms) getting them to want to go in and get tested, when they have no reason unless they cant breath normally or something and actually need attention
if you dont know stay home, do not go to a clinic, hospital etc, unless you actually need help
edit: like if you wouldnt go in for the same symptoms 6 months ago, dont go in now, just wasting their time and your money, and possibly gonna get even more people sick for no reason
sup you mugs
building a melon and pumpkin farm on Minecraft and realizing how tedious it is to replace pistons and observers in the correct orientation when your getting boxed in by those very melon and pumpkins lol
neat
am working on pokeman lewd
@Michael I guess now it doesn’t matter how long they serve breakfast
Oh, and Nando’s too. Kinda sucks for you but good for their employees (unless they get laid off or don’t get paid while they’re closed).
ye the government has recommended that all restaurants and fast food places be closed and only allow service via either drive-tru or take-out. My McDonalds is still open now and doing delivery services but is set to close soon.
They should hopefully be fine at least in the short term, the government has set out a financial aid package that will pay employees in the restaurant sector 80% of their wages if they are unable to work due the effects of COVID-19.
Seems like charging batteries is trickier than expected. Or I just suck at it.
Tested 4 of the AA rechargeable Nimh batteries I got with the charger (you can charge or test them).
Testing means it will charge the batteries until they are full, then discharge them until they’re empty to show you the mAh. Took ~5h which seems to be normal and none of them were under 2400mAh. But then when I charged them again the value was only 700-1000mAh. They also got really warm (more than hand warm).
So now I don’t know if something’s wrong with the batteries, the charger or if I’m doing something wrong. Kinda frustrating.
How’s everyone doing?
just got isopropyl alcohol in my eye and it stings… a lot
Wash it out carefully.
ye i rinsed it out with water just I now feel very light headed considering I just consumed alcohol through my eye, it is 99% after all.
you don’t drink alcohol through your eye
that’s the wrong type of alcohol to drink
Yikes. Hopefully no damage to the eye.
I should be fine, isn’t like I’m Vodka Eyeballing lol
Vodka has less alcohol in it though.
