Hasnt changed much.Transfer rom files, Unlock bootloader in settings, boot/flash custom recovery and your pretty much done. Some devices are a bit more of a bitch though

used to be like press special button combination it would go into fancy color mode
then you could overwrite the recovery rom and stuff from the pc
was same with more og windows mobile(which was pretty cool actually) could boot linux from windows lel, even had android to see it be 10x slower

this is close but the flashing is way faster than i remember
also more remember like blue and and white, just sorta transitioning, like the glow of the tv on in the room but you arent looking at it, just softly flickering/changing color
could do script and stuff like walk up and activate it to turn it on(unless someone in the room then on already prolly), could do generic computer screen maybe for when you activate them

but thinkin something like this maybe, can have it randomly alternate between the 3 colors
could do more frames if had space if wanted a specific animation like of it/the pc turning on in the script if wanted transitions, otherwise even 3 frames could do like 1 for fake bios logo, and a fake windows logo or dmesg somethin, then desktop/login

Sharpened for like 30mins, the blade near the handle to about the start of the blade curving is reasonably sharp. Not quite razor sharp but close. The upper part is decent enough, nothing special tho for sharpness. Seems to be hard enough steel though to make a good edge I just got annoyed because my sharpener isnāt very good at curved blades

the only kind of blades I dislike sharpening are the serrated ones and the ones with a recurve.

yes please! those V shaped sharpeners ruin blades more than they sharpen them.
sharpening stones take practice though. I for one am not able to maintain an angle. thatās why I went with a Lansky Sharpening System.
with regular wet stones or diamond plates you can even get away with only 1 stone. but donāt let the numbers bling you and get something like a 10k. more like ~150, 400-600, 1k. and a leather strop.
the v ones are awesome for taking the blade down from completely dull to something that vaguely resembles sharpā¦
ā¦and then using a real stone after to finish the job

ye mean from having/using a shavette as a knife sometimes when lazy and only one can find
when you cut open a thing and you dont even feel it drag at all, that if you just autopilot like i do when open boxes at work(usually during day have to unload food delivery) the feedback of feeling it drag know when it stopped cutting etc can just do it without even looking, wouldnt do that with actual razor sharp prolly

like would have to eyeball it and shit to try to not cut into the box instead of only cutting the tape, that you dont always wanna cut the objects in the box, just the tape, other than if you did fast/slipped is very delicate edge and such wouldnt wanna bump it on other metal etc, or cut yourself or something
Iām just curious to see if the steel is good enough to do it. Then probably will make it less sharp after.
