@TheDiddilyHorror ended up ordering a razer anyways :X lel. seems like semi decent model though, since pretty decent weight although only 1 AA for the battery, and pretty good battery life(like ~285hrs unless do bluetooth them bunch more)
did da basilisk x hyperspeed, also no rgb but does have a dumb dpi scale by default 800,1800,3600,7200,16000 prolly gonna try and see how it saves on the mouse(they say it does) but dunno if thats only while it has power, or if it has actual memory to store it in that isnt battery backed up, prolly do like 1600, 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500 or somethin only have 4k, so ~3840cpi would be entire screen in an inch, so 16k something like entire screen in 1cm, i mean if had 8k sure 7200 or somethin prolly pretty good

but it does atleast have a useful speed(3600), and 1800 if had low res monitor, the 7200 is almost slow enough for 4k/if careful it works
So, after every cold boot you have to do all your settings again? No onboard profiles? Corsair has them. They’re buggy but I finally go them to work properly.
Reason i love cherry pos keyboards onboard memory could have the navy seal copy pasta as a keybind
And 1000 profiles on the keyboard plus command combos ctl alt f22 or shift f22 and that can pull more commands upwards of 10 keys in one press for command layers and all their combos
Cherry mx blacks with moisture guard so can take a spill and be fine
And the track pad while small is actually one of the best ive ever used in responsiveness and accuracy
And no rgb

i think i found my limit for hiking. about 5 miles lol. i did 9.4 miles all the way out to point reyes and… yeah im not moving for the next day lmao my entire body is sore and my hip, knee and ankle joints are pretty much fucked.

It’s a point that juts out between the inner bay and the Pacific, so there’s a permanent crosswind so not many trees
oh cool, just seen that big empty space off to the right of them trees
I miss hiking though theres nothing around here unless you like flatlands for miles and miles.

There’s a couple of places around here but haven’t really done any proper hiking since I was younger. The Lake District is about a 2 hour drive from here and used to go there on school trips. Not my picture but its a bunch lakes scattered throughout the landscape surrounded by picturesque mountains.
I think what I miss maybe more than the hiking is just the remoteness of it all, like everything else you stress about doesn’t matter so much its just you and the mountains.
