Only reason type c is faster is due to third party fast charger support. Like always apple does their own thing so you need to buy their special charger. Type C is fucking amazing though. I can now charge my switch and phone off of the same charger
I wouldnāt necessarily recommend it but you can charge your switch with your phoneās battery too using reverse charging, done it a couple of times in a pinch lol

ye on the bright side least c-to-c cables are getting much cheaper. I have a single c to c cable I got with some random thing and it was a usb 3.1 gen 2 cable too, though I only ever use it to infect payloads into my switch with my phone in RCM mode lol

I mean i can still use whatever fast charge brick I want, but lightning only is up toā¦ iirc 30 watts max. Some of the USB C fast chargers are 45w now.
My 2amp charger does a decent job, Iāll probably get a wireless charger at some point though since the SE supports that.

only reason i have a ipod is 256gb phones are still not a common thing and i can put 256gb ez and with 5th gens you can get to 1tb with minimal issues
i have alot of music i have collected over the years and my power mac buying people never clean their apple itunes music i only grab the non drmād files tho i can crack em its kinda fun getting random as fuck music from like colleges and dance studios that have been using macs and ipods for music for ever to the point when they upgrade its kinda like history

Ah yes, the good old fashioned just toss shit without wiping it. I did pickup a portable hdd from a ewaste place once. It came from a lawyer and still had several peoples tax documents, legal documents, ssn, etc on it. I wiped it ofc but was still a massive wow moment. Imagine if someone else had gotten ahold of that drive

ive gotten so many things like that and when i worked fixing printers you would be suprised what is printed in government offices
standing printers have hdds that handle print jobs of large size which also just grabs a copy of everything it printed
and the one time my coworker found cp on a clients shit and had to end up going to court as a witness

When I was doing recycling or just fixing PCsā¦ the amounts of stuff that I found was just sad lol. But also amusing, so many unencrypted notepad files with site names and logins, or sensitive PII on old hard drives, the list goes on.
every story I read about people hording cp they have drawers full of HDDS and encrypt literally none of them lol
