ye dunno would assume maybe let you stay if you try do makeup works or somethin but who knows
My trainer said they arenāt too anal about attendance and that in theory, even with like 2% attendance I could still take the test at the end if my English was good enough. Cause Iām already way under the required attendance but their office told me not to worry about it.
I usually donāt have any problems with it. Speaking and the grammar theory (learned it properly twice in my live, then forgot everything and just went with what sounds right to me) are probably my greatest weakness. The business part is generally just how to use the business lingo in conversations (emails, etc). The listening comprehensions can be a bit difficult cause theyāre recorded like normal conversations and you have to listen carefully to catch the answers for the questions.
Nope. Most of my free time is focused on studying for the LSAT, test for getting into Law School. Not really playing any games where I would make wallpapers with at the moment.
ye dunno, depends how anal they wanna be i guess, otherwise in a practical sense seems like you got it fine for writing stuff atleast.
so if we talkin practical, normal communication is different then writing books
finally got around to editing the guide code, only had to add a single if lol, since the indexing update forever ago, the code where it matters numerically, has to run thru the logic to resolve the file name based on the position it wants, so just ran a check at the beginning of that, if the position is total+1, then set it to position wanted+1 and print message saying it restarted. normally did the +1 anyways just in a different section then this one got a copy of, just different number of nested loops and was outside the one had grabbed lol

@Dje4321 you following the futo stuff louis rossmann working with?
got any leads for other options for like gpd micro?
basically just āneedā h264/5 vp9 whatever maybe hardware decode(if you only had a dual core with smt would maybe do 265 4k at 30fps but would be basically max load, so much lower power use/fan noise and stuff if hardware decode for these low power 2-4core systems)
but thats pretty much it other than atleast couple usb, an hdmi or dp out, audio out too would be nice just for more sound options
micro fits the bill and not too expensive if do the aliexpress whatever link from the gpd site like 400 somethin, dont usually game or anything on laptop anymore anyways since have a good system. so mostly just media server, or basic web/check email, whatever tasks, maybe rescue disk/manage some backups or something which basically just need a couple usb ports for, so you can plug in couple drives to copy between
looked at via but looked like no 265 support currently
edits: guess would prefer x86 cause arm still kinda sux no dependable bootloader/standard(s), and micro boards usually issues with driver support, where gpd looks not too bad for that, other than a weird screen thing, apparently its actually rotated 90 degrees for some reason, and so you have to some tinkering if you want 100% normal lookin bootloader menus and stuff, add a repo/extra kernel module or something to get all the battery info or something like that otherwise didnt see anything too big
My god fuck me lol
Yeha I got an idea. I been running arm for the last week. As in, using a nintendo switch. Works great.
If you want a headless server for processing get some sd 845+ based phones or better, install termux, install whatever else you need, plug in, put in a fridge. Done.
Done with L1. Found youtube channels even clowning on the elitism. Unless someone unside says something ol does something, that place will rot.
May I host my superposhs here? It will probably uptick traffic.
lel said ideally not dat XD lol.
Chonky Palmtop is a DIY portable Linux computer with a split keyboard and 7 inch display - Liliputing could do this thing i guess
Iām just like have 3, hook them up as render threads to handbraxe nad kden over the network, leave them somewhere cold. Done.
nah not for handbrake for regular decode
like when made first one for at home ended up just doing athlon 200ge(Cause was cheapo/did everything needed at time without having to do any extra shiz) could have done like odroid c+ or somethin idk, but after some digging wouldnt have worked for what wanted, cause no drivers for the video decode if i used regular linux, was like had to be android or 1 other thing was some port of open elec or something
otherwise no decode and only had 4 arm cores so was basically a no on 1080p 30fps h265, that you could not just use vlc or mpv or whatever you wanted
edit: want no android(atleast at the time cause google sux) and basically a need for the hardware support with regular drivers, like maybe a add non free or something extra repo is bout it, not willin to do like only one distro they modify has this one extra black box package, otherwise its like 100% load constantly with dropping frames
like this would work 7 Inch Mini Laptop J4125 Notebook IPS Touch Screen Portable Netbook Win 10 Pro Mini PC Micro Computer Bluetooth 4.2 8G 1TB| | - AliExpress too, or bunch of the nuc whatever mini boxes, the sticks etc, rather a portable thing i guess for less cables/random shit required. think would gpd over that one prolly just for build quality/average reputation is pretty decent just more expensive for the regular models, and micro still more than this one by fair bit like 490 or something for direct from them.
some other gaming options aya neo, or steam deck i guess is barely more for the base model which would work fine, just more no use for the gaming pad, and then no controls otherwise kinda sucks for trying to do stuff, limited io, so then you gotta bring usb hub so you can have external mouse/kb thing
Again used nintendo switches, or repairable ones. HAC-001, Tegra X1. Running linux rn, have clock control, goin my thing. Using the dock, hooked up to 4K TV, eveything works.
they did try makin tablets or whatever with that before so not surprised has better driver support, but switch itself sux, extra big, still low res screen like zero io on the device other than gamepad which does nothin for typin which is the main thing need lol, guess they cheaper atleast like 300$ for a new one?
ex:
if i had switch and went somewhere, need switch, a cable from that to some sort of breakout box thats probably expensive?(to do multiple usb hdmi etc but still have access to onboard screen) then a kb/mouse thing to plug into that, cable from that to external hdd, then power cable for switch/breakout box, and the hdd, then a hdmi cable
where if had micro is like, power for that, power for hdd, cable for hdd and hdmi
Been using it as a desktop. Not many problems. 2GHz, big little core setup, can do per ghz clock stepping or per thread call (basically stock). 1020-2090 mhz vs 209-2090mhz. I do advise to get the Ayn Odin dock though, or the second gen switch dock. The first gen needs constant reseating.
HAC-001ās are starting at 150
Ayn Odin is only other ultraportable Iād recommend. If you needed firepower, run an external host.
Ayn Odin Dock. Has 4 USB, has 2 HDMI, use phone with KDE connect on the go or use non-gnome DEās. Switch has rotation too, so worst case scenario, on screen kb works. Otherwise, BT networking, KDE connek.
Also wait
USB C breakout for USB on the go, use this ribbon. Thats what I am gunna do. I have an external SSD, 256GB SD card that runs at A3, I use a phone to manage boot and firmware updates, and just in case I have a USB A + USB C double sided USB stick with a clone of my base SD card setup on it in case I have to completely dump and reformat, for example, if someone hacks me.
But it takes minutes to reset, m i n u t e s
I have hacked HorizonOS with 2 EMUMMC, linux, and android 10
using ubuntu 2004 with a VM for void linux
going to install some machine learning shit so I can use the built in jetson siite on the SOC and use some of the extra compute, and I can use box86/64
This is a much better / more modern setup for me compared to having a desktop. The only comparable thing would be a netbook with a good proc or an X86 tablet that doesnāt blow chunks.
ye but need multiple usb lol
like micro has 3 usb a 1 type c 1 hdmi ands 3.5, built in kb mouse and monitor which would work good enough
so like media server use not at home would be like 1 hdd to have content, and hdmi out, maybe 3.5 depending on audio setup, which you could do a hdmi to 3.5 audio splitter i guess if didnt have that, that when transfer some files or whatever still 2 free usb a after c for charge, and an a for the bring along external
Nintendo dock V1 has 3 USB, 2 2.0 1 3.0, dock 2 has 2 2.0, 2 3.0, 1 nic, ayn odin dock has other shit.
If youāre going for purely a media machine, get in contact with sink. They are working on GPU drivers to run linux on an ipad. Its almost complete from what I understand, but thats literally all the information she is allowed to share.
X86 based machines are too chuggy, PPC is PPC, ARM is really the only thing that makes sense you just gotta know your SOC tooling, at least if I was doing this.
I also have 2 dell servers in my room so whatever overall
Pinebook, RockPro
also
Iām sure theres smaller ones with right angle. If I find one and get one Iāll let you know how it works out.
also surprisingly the switch can emulate PS2
Biggest recommend is look for NVME. If it supports NVMe you can make it do literally anything.
thats just the more demanding task, checking email(stuff dont wanna check or have checked on android for google reasons) or editing a single c file whatever can do on my current old laptop thing has a pile driver quad core at 2.1ghz al core turbo i think, the decode 265 1080p whatever that would be like 8 core arm cpu or newer high clock like 2+ ghz to even try to do if no drivers for gpu/hardware decode
which the intel one supports 264/5 vp9 whatever which is prob fine for life of the thing
Thats why I said SD 845/+ specifically. Has drivers. Other issue will be power.
Also the difference between these platforms, in all logistical honesty, is like⦠14 seconds of your time
Also I just realized the 2 efficiency cores in the tegra X1 arenāt being used, just the 4 power cores.
new GPD lappy is⦠somethin
ye but also annoyance and formfactor benefits, like the pyra if it wasnt vapor ware and super outdated cpu and stuff would be cool, has multiple io options, and kb think the game pad works as mouse idk
like once start talking docks and cables and stuff switch no longer is a āpocketā device, that the micro/gpd win etc, that 7in one posted earlier would all work pretty good like full functionality for my laptop usage with just the device itself, then prolly an external drive for media usage since aint spending for a 8tb m.2 or something.
and then installing loonix or whatever is just a usb and wipe anything i dont want, not exploiting a bug or whatever to get root access to eventually wipe a bunch of shit and replace some firmware to let me boot something maybe, or just do like a vm and chroot into it
edit: same kinda issues with the other gaming things like the one brand you recommended has one, aya, steam deck etc, just dont need/use gamepad and takin up space where more io would go lol, so need more external shiz
Its literally just turning on internal serial networking for during the boot cycle so your bootloader starts first. Its not rly an exploit lol.
I have typed on gamepad keyboards and had stupid good performance tbh, think PSP. But on like a PS4 controller
I also use what I have. Vs buying whatever, if it exists, yeet
