“What? They fell off a truck.”
Actually yes. Not feeling that comfortable outside.
Also, I’m tired (up since midnight again) and my stomach’s a bit upset.
But I haven’t seen that friend in almost a year, so…
And that’s also the time I didn’t go out to meet someone (like friends).
gee thanks we feel loved.
Not seeing someone in almost a year does make it worse but just be yourself and I’m sure it’ll be fine. they probably feel the same way.
Nah, he’s actually that kind of friend that you don’t see for a long time, just write some shit over text, and when you see each other again it’s like no time has passed.
That’s why I don’t want to cancel.
On top of that he’s kinda the only person I stayed in contact with who’s not someone on the internet that I’ve never seen.
But what if everyone here is that friend, just running a bunch of different accounts…

If thats the case you shouldn’t worry and just go out and enjoy yourself.
@Cavemanthe0ne can you have your dad not run forum.0cd.xyz through cloudflare’s proxy? wanna try switching over the forum to the domain and that is preventing me from doing that
I told him not to already lol…
It’ll probably be the same as always: don’t wanna go, and when I’m there then I don’t wanna leave.
This time I’ll try not to drink any alcohol, though. Last time I stayed long after that friend went home and drank with the staff until closing time…earned me a huge hangover that lasted the whole day.
A company I’ve done alpha and beta test for recently emailed me and we had the follow exchange [I edited it to remove breaking any NDAs]
Company:
We want you to test.
Me: I retired from testing.
Company: Please.
Me: No.
Company: It is really cool though.
Me: Still no.
i would love to have the job of a tester
I was a volentry tester for a small online game once. Was fun and seen some cool stuff that never made it to production.
Ive been on the beta for a few Total War and Gaijin Entertainment games, was pretty cool. Though the TW games were all the mobile/smaller games like Arena but still.
The Gaijin one was that I had closed beta access to Crossout which is quite fun. Its changed a lot since then.
I’ve been a beta tester for many games but that is always somewhat different than actually being a tester for a game. You don’t have anywhere near the same amount of access and these days its mostly like a demo. In my case I had direct access to the people working on the projects and even developed some stuff my self that actually made it into the game. Was mostly 2d level design and programming in the games custom language but was still fun while it lasted.
The TW ones were actually testing, and the Crossout closed beta was an actual closed beta so.
But most betas are “pay to early access lol”
Yeah thats what always gets me. beta testing has kinda lost its meaning because of this and when I see it instantly think its just an early access promotion or something to generate hype more than actual testing.
yep. most days i just see beta testing as a way to test for any extreme bugs. Early access is even worse of a thing then beta testing. Some games have even released DLC while still in early access
I feel that should be illegal.
