Nah, like slurring the words. Not as bad as the old weapon guy in Hot Fuzz, but sorta.

ah yes. is it bad that I can actually understand him.

It’s bad when you hear it for the first 2-3 times but eventually you can get the hang on it (not that I would be able to understand someone who speaks like that in the wild…ya know, when it’s not a movie you can rewind xD).

I thought it was just using “blimey” and “bloody” in every sentence.

no its just a video i found when searching for a really heavy british accent.

is fairly low key and very southern for a british accent. Is what most americans would associate with a victorian british horror movie.

Lol yep
I just happen to be watching this and this is more normal lol

Or this

yep I’d say thats mostly about right. has the basics but still really light for a proper southern accent. things generally start to get much harder the further north you go for people to understand because most of the accents you hear on the television are very close to that.

Yes thats more like it. you should search for the “geordie” accent which is what I have but most of the stuff you’ll find is way stronger than mine.

There’s a good chestnut paste made in France, the rest is pretty meh - imo.
My elementary school teacher was a big fan of France and went there almost every summer.
(don’t know why anyone would want to, though)

i could see myself doing something like that with canada

I’ve been to France and it wasn’t bad but I will say French kids are absolutely mental and love to party. place we stayed at the french school there pretty much had a rave every night.

Ramblings of writing fantasy:
Who doesn’t like magic in fantasy? It is the norm. The trick is figuring out how it works in the story. The magic has to have rules the reader can understand without being told what they are. The main character in my fantasy story is a magic user. However they aren’t an arcane magic user. They use nature based magic but when you first meet them they don’t have full control of it.

Brief on how magic works in my fantasy story:
There are three different types of magic in the world -
Arcane - These require spoken word, ingredients, wave of the hand, so on.
Holy- These require a relic or chants/prayers to activate. Also dependent on the casters belief in their own faith.
Nature - It just requires the caster to focus their mind. It is difficult to control though if not trained.

End or rambling.
