also @Dje4321 this subreddit is amusing

for example
You think those are bad. you shouldâve seen some of the stuff people wrote in my java class. The else if statement is making me cringe soo hard right now though.
kek ofc this is a thing.
Damn right thats a problem.
Some of these are soo classically british:
(Also this is the " I forgot I had not downloaded GTA V in a while" and its like 80 gbs now. Lol. This is going to be a while.)
How is it that I always want to play games that I donât own? Even with a decent amount of games in my Steam and GoG libraries including quite a few genres.
So im gonna play around with compiling custom kernels again
neat. are you aiming to make light kernels for your system or just generally messing around with the configs? Have been messing around with the kernel for my phone trying to get fast charge to work and have recompiled it soo many times.
im mostly want to enable support to dump a list of page tables. I might look into bulding a super specific kernel for this device but i can care less about that atm XD
neat any specific reason behind wanting a dump of the page tables or just curious?
just curious on how the virtual memory is mapped out
yep would be interesting. I assume it may look very different on Intel machines now because of KPTI?
not really. kpti just moved kernel memory out of userspace but kpti did spark my interest
oh right that makes sense. I should actually look into this topic way more. I mostly know the basis but want to get into it with more depth.
lel
also finally have GTA V installed⌠the 6970s are OK at it FPS wise but hellooo there stutterfest
GTAV needs low latency memory access and a fairly good CPU. you could squeeze alot of FPS out of the engine by disabled shadows though
FPS isnt an issue lol⌠ranges from 45 to 140 FPS usually around 50-70 but the stutters are real, lol
especially when driving fast/lots of things happening.
This on Highish settings but no tesselation at 1080p
