The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

You should try it out for a stream or two and see how it goes. If it improves the content and makes the stream more engaging for the viewers then I say go for it. Your focus should be on the stream first and growing your viewer base which imo is way more important. Just have fun with your streams and try new things out.

Yep. Probably will do timers first so people know commands are a thing lol like !roulette or !8ball and then go from there.
May add song requests but will see.

Probably will do a stream tonight to test all the new things out even more
Only downside really of Streamelements is that it takes a bit of a toll when using it with OBS (around 5-15% CPU use on a 1600X) but its manageable if you are streaming at 720P60FPS and not at 1080P60. (Which is probably a good idea not to do 1080p to start anyway)

Will be switching out my 1600X for the 1800X I have though when i do the custom loop I’m working on so there’s that.

Been enjoying streaming a lot though and I also am well on my way to be an affiliate which is cool. Just need to keep streaming and I will fulfill all the requirements for it.
Then will be a long road to being partnered

Unrelated;
Aaanddd stocks are falling again.

If they fall far enough ill probably grab like 10 or 20 because reasons.

yep kinda sucks for AMD but this was expected to happen.

Also just found out that twitch mobile does a really ingenious thing for multitasking. The stream you are watching pops out and you can move it wherever you want on the screen while doing other things.
Not bad.

Sooo I guess Fouquin is the top bidder again at $205 because the other guy who bid $217 retracted it after messaging me and I told him it was broken and explained how (like it was already explained in the listing)

This annoys me.

lel what did they expect finding a Vega Frontier for $200 even if they didn’t read the listing.

I’m just annoyed they retracted it because if they would have been patient someone would have outbid them but nooooo. Now it has to start from $205 again

Minorly surprised there s not a penalty for doing such a thing.

Edit;
Oh and the guy had the balls to ask if I had the receipt still if there was a warranty (despite me saying there was no warranty in the listing lol)
First you dont think I would have tried RMAing it if I did have the reciept and second even if I did have the receipt why would I ever give it to a on random eBay user lol

also why not ask before you bid rather than after
Meh.
If I sell it to Fouquin for $205 I won’t even be mad but itd be nice to have it go for more.

Strange but he’s not that wrong for once
Interesting way to put it I guess
But in any case similar site rules here lol…

Oh Aremis. is a very interesting take he has on that. Wonder how that would even play it but I doubt it’ll ever happen.

i would argue thats its a capitalist situation more so than communistic. You can create a competing service to just about any website with enough time and money.

Dont worry. The rules here are basically copy/paste from the L1T forums +/- a few things

Perhaps most importantly; the lounge is moderated the same as everywhere else :stuck_out_tongue:

But yep.

(Not that it needs moderating at this stage but thats besides the point)

lounge is even more heavily regulated then everywhere else because its a general chat area and there is not a direction to follow unlike a thread

Also yes but there was a joke there lol…

On a side note snow is annoying.
Though I’m almost done with work (maybe) so theres that

In its current state couldn’t the web never be classified as communistic? I mean there is a clear distinction between those who run the websites and their general users. The only way it would truly be communistic is if everything was a decentralized mesh network.

As a result of snow. I got home in 2 hours in 15 minutes today. We got sent home early. Luckly I have PTO so I just took the time I’d be missing. The drive normal tacks 35 minutes with normal traffic. Luckly I had two chill cds I had to keep me calm.

Wow. That is quite the added time.
Here its just normal break out the snow plows, wait until they are done doing the stuff they do, and back to more or less normal traffic levels. Most ive seen added to a commute was an hour (because of crashes more than actual snow)

Sounds like you were set with good tunes though

I have a very excersive collectiion of music. I could listen to my music for 2 weeks 3 days 15 minutes and 4 seconds nonstop. 80 percent is non vocal. I also craft the playlist to flow from one song to the next. I’ve actually been working on what I call the master flow playlist for all non vocals for a couple of months because I listen to each song individual and determine if it goes the playlist or not. I’m almost done with it. Being a former radio college dj help me understand how to create really great playlist for myself.

Added stream timers for rules and a link to the forum as a separate one as well. Will be testing out the new things now with a stream of some games, probably … hmm. Might do Hitman Absolution or maybe just more AoE II today. Not sure yet. But definitely will be streaming something lol. Might retry Nex Machina actually now that I have made it so the stream won’t hammer the CPU to 100%
