The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

I’m not a big coffee drinker… now I’m considering becoming a regular coffee drinker

Lol no

I guess it would be a reason to go to Starbucks tho instead if ignoring it exists
Not that Starbucks would do it but still
40GBP is nearly Starbucks pricing :stuck_out_tongue:

Y no Tim Horton’s?

Is that actually a thing? The only thing I know of vaguely similar is some movie with a similar sounding name lol

Yes it is. It’s the best coffee chain around. Not widely available in the US though because it’s Canadian.

I wouldn’t know as I never go to coffee shops unless I get a gift card on a holiday or whatever
Otherwise I have coffee myself. Because coffee pot and getting grounds periodically is so cheap and good lol.
I dont need any of that fancy sugary shake shit :stuck_out_tongue:
And I can add flavors like toffee to mine as well because there’s syrup for it and such if I feel the urge to so.

Also if I want a good shake or malt I go to ice cream shops as they do it better and even usually have coffee flavors if I want that kind of thing

Probably don’t want to know why you know but lol

uh a friend told me honest

Are you sure that’s what they said or was their mouth full.

Its because credit card providers/companies banned spending on bitcoin
Well that’s one way to get idiots away from the coins and stop the insane prices I guess lmao

That’s expensive advice.

Hopefully there will be a big GPU sell off, but i doubt it.

Oh there definitely will be. This massive drop in prices from doing that means a very large chunk of people were using credit cards as loans to start mining operations.
They either bought the $1000-2000 worth of coin to keep and resell for more, or bought the same amounts worth of GPUs to mine the money back in a few months and pay off the card. Or some mix of both.

The GPU one may or may not be affected a ton but if its 40-70% less profitable to mine it probably will be.
And the other one… Well. Yeah the price speaks for itself lol

I took a look at 480/580/390/x/290/x/fury cards on ebay and were a far number of new listing but no price drop as of yet.

Will likely take a few weeks until the price drop has stabilized to see the GPUs drop as well.
Then again eBay scalpers are scalpers so … Theres also that but still
