is Minnesota, so yes
I am soo glad it never gets anywhere near that cold here.
It’s not that bad, you get used to it
yep
10 F is kinda warm, 20-30 is warm and 40+ F is nice lol
in European thats -12, -6 to -1, and 4 degrees respectively
The PC just crashed
I’m sure it would. coldest its been here in a year is i think -4C, I’ve dealt with much colder in Scotland before further up north but not by too much.
You’d think it would like the cold, thats some prime overclocking temperatures if I saw them.
One day this week I had the CPU an overclocked FX-8320E @4.5Ghz at 13C under full load and the GPU R9 280X also under full load and OCed at around 30C all on air.
Down side though it’s like 5-7C in my room right now
damn thats not bad. I should move to a cooler climate and get my OC game on.
sweatshirts and blankets are nice lol
You know it
Me and @Cavemanthe0ne did some sub-zero overclocking on air in his garage in high school one year.
which didnt pan out well as one of the CPU’s wasn’t liking one of the mobos or something but still benched some laptops as far as they would go lol
The one was too cold to boot
i think later on i discovered the CPU wasnt in the whole way or the mobo heatsink for the chipset was not on the whole way or some other thing like that but still
because AMD chips dont have cold boot issues
We should do that again though.
i mean
lol
just need some more dice and or ln2
