portal uses the same engine as half life 2. can even play HL2 maps in portal
yeah thats what is strange, the same fix I used for HL2 doesnāt work with portal for some reason.
ah got it now, was just being weird with the resolution. made the game window mode and untiled it to fill the screen.
Waitā¦you mean itā¦didnāt just work?
kek yes, thats just i3 though in a nutshell though, great window manager but can be a bit regressive at times, is ususally a way around most of the issues though.
the one that seems to work the best is not using i3
lel I kind of agree although its mostly 90% games that donāt like it, is why I have gnome on standby if need be.
Yelp. Just beat portal 1
kek that was quick. looks like you just beat me, only got to test chamber 18
i wasnt even trying to go fast. I beat the test chambers how they were meant to be. could have done it atleast twice as fast if i tried
yeah Iām not that quick, after I beat it might try it again and see how fast I can do it.
Here is an interesting mod for Portal 1 you might like:
looks very interesting, I might have to check that out.
already played it. Was fairly good but somewhat broken atleast for me. Textures and models were fairly broken
So on test chamber 18 I got the ball inside after pressing the button and walked backwards into the acid
It is kinda of crazy the amount of mods I know about for various games that Iāve played. Sometimes I have to go digging cause I canāt remember them all. But if you are looking for a mod for a game there is a good chance I can always recommend a good one.
One of my favorite mods which was later made into a game is The Stanley Parable:
The game is also good in my opinion.
Up next is portal 2
Now that sounds like a good idea
Not sure if i want todo the campain again or if i should do workshop levels. Will probably do the campain as that should be sub 3 hours if everything goes smoothly
yep campaign would be good, think it took me around 6-7 todo it last time. I might check out some workshop levels though because I did the campaign fairly recently.
