We actually keep all our internal stuff on a VPN because we don’t bother trying to secure HTTPS.

He doesn’t have any replacement ideas, but his points are mainly the backdoors, flaws in the encryption algos and a couple others that I already forgot because when I’m sick, I can’t focus properly.

would’ve thought he’d at least try and come up with a solution, besides backdoors and flaws in encryption don’t just stop at HTTPS any other solution could be susceptible to exactly those same issues, there’s always the possibility of encryption being circumvented one way or another.

If we all Switch to IPV6 we could make it more secure as IPV6 natively supports IPSEC

Yes, but these are known bugs that aren’t being fixed AND HTTPS is commonly thought to be secure.

tell me about it. my ISP has been implementing IPV6 for probably 10 years and we were supposed to have it mid last year, still waiting and no word.

Yeah that has always rubbed me the wrong way about him. he is great at finding problems and ranting about them than coming up with something we can get behind to make things better. its all doom and gloom with no light at the end of the tunnel. He does have a point though I just don’t know where we go from here.

So some semi newish people? Greetings to @SgtAwesomesauce @Zoey @Fouquin . Welcome to the forum.

My plans for the evening:
Work on Sam’s Wasteland Within for 1 hour
Work on the 1st page for Project Rubber Band Space Odyssey, then resume work on Sam’s Wasteland Within - This will be bundled with Sam’s Wasteland Within when it is rereleased. It is a short space story that I’m personally excited to work on.
Refamiliarize myself with Debian - It has been awhile since I last used it. Honestly pretty excited to play with it again. I don’t expect it’ll take me too long to remember how to do things and i look over the documentation for reference.
Plans for Saturday: Yes ReShade Photography Sessions - Hellblade Livestream will be this Saturday from 13 00 to 14 00 on my twich account. It’ll be on every saturday at the time. Once Hellblade is finished the next game will be Rise of the Tomb Raider.
