hmm strange, might it be a phone issue? recently I’ve had a lot of issues with TWRP and recovering backups though, it doesn’t boot and have to reflash everything anyway.

yep hopefully reflashing it will work, wouldn’t backups not matter though because flashing doesn’t touch internal storage or do you mean of the current rom?

Strange so it won’t flash it at all? maybe the rom is bad? other than that I’m not really sure.

i can flash it just fine but the OS is being buggy af atm. might track down a different rom and see if that helps

Well shit, thought I’d check up on the next major version of LineageOS and it isn’t going to support my device, it will support the LG G2, G3, G4, Optimus L70, and the G Pad but not the G5

nah my phone should last me a long while yet before I think about upgrading. If it came to it I could always port my current Lineage build over to 15 and if not 14.1 is still nice apart from the fast charge issues I still need to fix.

is not dodgy. is just updated to android 6.0 so i dont have to download the update myself

oh well. will just download the 600MB update to go from android 5 to 6

Is 1 major Android update the most you’ll get nowadays? Since the release mid 2015 the Moto G 3rd Gen only got 1 major update from 5 to 6.
