LinusTechCon pretty much. they had some pretty awesome showcases and stuff to do at the last one. even Teran done an editing session during the entire thing.

Looked pretty fun. Had everything from VR demos, Case toss, Watching taren edit a LTT video live, etc.

VR always makes you sick the first time you use it. had the same issue when I tried my brother Oculus but you get used to it fairly quickly

Part of your problem was that it was PSVR. Its a good implementation for console plebs but something the rift or vive will be a much better experince

I know the Rift or vive are better. But I can’t see VR becoming more then a showcase experience for long time if ever. Nothing about it made it more attractive then traditional gaming to me at least.

its not for everyone but i say you cant hate on VR until you try a proper experience. Most people who do try a actual experience tend to fall in love with it

I never did, I just don’t think it’s as good traditional gaming at least for the type of games I play. Is it cool yes, would I invest in it no.

You just need the right game/app to truly experience how great it is, that for me was Elite Dangerous because sitting in the cockpit of a spaceship with a flight stick and everything is really awesome and makes it that much more immersive.

For cockpit games I can see how it would be better. I just don’t play games in that setting. I mostly play RPGs, platformers, and strategy games

I would go if it was closer in Canada but its basically next to Seattle so that means its still one of the farthest tech conventions away from me lol
If it was in Ontario somewhere or hell even in Montreal I’d think about it though

VR is great for war thunder and etc but … Basically everything else is bad. Even most car games with VR are hit or miss because g forces aren’t a thing lol.
In places or space flight games I’ve never flown a plane so it doesnt bother me (the not being able to tell how the vehicle is reacting super well to the controls I’m doing and so on. )
