Why is the content 2/3 air?

I’ll be taking the forum offline around 10PM CST today to migrate nginx outside of the discourse docker container. This will allow a page for when the forum is down to be displayed.

I expect 2-3 hours of downtime but it could take alot longer depending on how it goes

Roughly every Friday for a few Fridays I’ll be posting the ReShade presets I’ve made with the settings in the ReShade thread.

yah it’s been snowing here for a few hours too

Just started here. Supposed to be bad enough that there’s a winter weather warning though atm its just really windy more than actually snowing much

It’s not snowing hard here but it’s supposed to snow all night so the cities are getting 8+ in of snow.

You can do better

Okay so I’m going to start a playthrough of Alien Isolation [Which I never played] I decided I’d make a ReShade for it.
Before ReShade

After ReShade

I decided to give the light a subtle green tint to it because Green is the official color for Alien I think? Anyway I think my ReShade does make the game look better I’ll share the preset this coming Friday once I have time to fine tune it. It is a good base to start from.

The ReShade screenshot reminds me of fallout 3 because of the green tint to the light

Indeed. There are some more subtle things I’ve done but the green tint is the esay one to spot. I honestly never minded the green tint Fallout 3 had. It made sense for the game. Radiation is associated with green so it worked kinda. New Vegas though didn’t have the green tint even I remember correctly.

Fallout 3 was the only one that had the green tint. I thought green tint fit the setting of fallout 3 so i liked it better with the green then without it.

iirc the first 2 fallout games leaned towards a green hue

They do but it’s hard to compare 2D isometric games to first person games. Plus I’ve never had the patience to learn how to play fallout 1, 2.

Its hard to compare but still possible. Still part of the franchise.

Not hard games to learn. Hardest part is learning how to make your character and how parts of the game interact with each other. Is really easy if you read the manual
