Switching out the stems changes how they feel sometimes as they are pretty much all built a bit differently (well, most Cherry stems are the same, most kailhs are the same, but a kailh and a cherry will differ from each other).
The main thing with the naming schemes has to do with the colors though. Like Gateron Yellows are one thing, gateron blacks a different ones, etc etc
Potentially you could have the surface area actuating the spring be different, which therefore would increase or decrease the amount of pressure needed?
Kailh navies use a click bar rather than the usual click jacket on cherry style switches, so if I switch out the stem from an orange into the navy one it will make it even clicker lol.
Kind of not really. Different plastics definitely make a difference in switch feel though.
Mostly down to different mechanical ways to make the switch work.
Also @thediddilyhorror some switches are lubed inside as well so that can also effect things.
Yes @dje4321 keyboard switches can be lubed, and yes it definitely makes for some amusing things when talking about keyboards and switches sometimes lel
So close to being done with work then I can play with soldering lol. Shouldn’t take too long to put together the 40% keyboard considering the size of it. What will be more… Interesting will be flashing the firmware on it because custom layout but still
I’ve spent 37 hours in this game but the story is more passive, its mostly from letters and messages around the map but there is a final location you can get to in the game the ends the story and rolls the credits. You can still continue afterwards because the game is a sandbox.
